It's purpose built for cricket isn't it? If it is then it'll be better than quite a lot of the NZ grounds too :laugh We only have a few proper cricket grounds that get international matches, but the ones we do have are real good.

20,000 tickets for each match, they have not been released yet. Have seen zero promotional material

Oh god, that would effectively kill American influence on cricket. Nothing against Pakistan, but you know how it is...

The best thing that could happen to the game of cricket is if Brenden McCullum does that thing with his sleeves and pummels all bowlers to oblivion. He and Chris Gayle for me are the biggest players that can deliver cricket to America.

and Rohit is spot on, its going to take athletes that Americans can relate to and there is no better American style cricketer than Chris Gayle. I can easily see Gayle on MTV cribs and chillin with Snoop Dog :laugh
