Newbie Mafia 01 - Endgame

Night 1

As the sun rose, town woke up to see a dead body in front of them. It was an innocent civilian's body who was recognized as swirler.

swirler was a civilian, town aligned.

You have no special power. But, your vote is what counts. And, you have to use it wisely during the day phase.

You win with the town, if you stay alive till the end.

It is now Day 2. With 6 alive, it takes 4 for a lynch.

Damn it. Swirler definitely was the good guy. We are lucky he was just a townie. So all the power roles are safe.

Real sad to lose Swirler this early in the game, thankfully he was just a civilian without any power role. Guys, we really need to get our lynches spot on for the day now, as losing another townie would result in a 3 v 2 split for the night, that will eventually reduce to a 2 v 2 split once Day 3 breaks, unless of course the doc makes a good save.

Overall though, there's barely any clue in the write-up at all. Makes the day further challenging. :/

Gonna analyze the posts made over the last few pages to see if I can pick up any clue. For the time being though,

And yeah, Why is Dr.Pepper not posting? That is obviously puzzling.

TBH, I wouldn't rule anyone out from being mafia, but for RPHKR. In fact, I'm pretty suspicious on you Bevab, 'cause Swirler wasn't particularly happy with you at the time of your verbal duel with AngryPixel.

There is obvious tension between AngryPixel & Bevab, and I think you've all picked the wrong person to be to mafia. Bevab is trying to play victim, making out that if we don't lynch AngryPixel that he'll be killed during the night.

Also I don't think enough pressure has been put on Dr Pepper, he could easily be the second mafia.

I agree that he's been rude and used inappropriate language, but so far he's been more believable. You've both deflected a lot and haven't been clear with your defence. In AngryPixel's case it's been more poor play.

The thing that stands out the most is that this whole time you've been quick to lynch, not worrying about the consequence. Which means your clearly not worried about removing a towns person.

I think Swirler could well be right here.

Dr.Pepper is giving me more and more mafia vibes with his inactivity and his safe game play. His last post came almost 48 hours back.

Great India meanwhile hasn't posted over the last 44 hours. This really isn't helping our cause to get a discussion going, especially when the write-up's hardly fetched us any clue to work on.

It really sucks when some players use this tactic to stay under the radar and hope to win the game. Winning is not everything in this game. Its the discussion that is the most fun part in a mafia game.
We should have some rule where if a member comes online on PC and doesn't post for more than 2 hours, he'll be mod killed. That would increase their activity and it won affect those who are busy and couldnt come online.

Swirler's post meant that I was not clear with my defence. Honestly, it was only 1 part where I was not clear, and that was down due to inexperience. And AP never defended himself, do you hear that? He never defended himself and is that poor play?

Its a battle of a tiny bit of Clarity v/s no defence. Which wins? You decide.

And a dash of aggressive play is required for every townie, just lynching after all proofs only leads to more suspicion.

And now to look at AP, was his defence clear? He said he was townie, is that a clear defence? Certainly not. I defended myself with a large part of posting.

Clearly, only a townie will work extremely hard to defend himself, even if he is a whisker away from hammer. A mafia member will simply try to cover his defence, apologizing if his defence was poor. That is what AP has done so far.

While you've got a point on AP's poor defense, you really haven't defended yourself well enough for my liking. I just don't buy this 'I defended myself with a large part of posting' stuff. I mean, is that even a theory to go by? In that case, what do you make of Great India's nature of 'small posts/no posts'? I presume you believe him to be a townie? That will eventually contradict your theory then. Also Dr.Pepper's inactivity?

Just adding AP and GI to my FOS list from my previous post. Lynch meanwhile stays intact on Dr.Pepper.

I'm really intrigued to hear all your defenses.

Regarding this, I'm guessing Great India just about finds the time to slot in a PM to User2010 off the night kill, before snapping offline in a jiffy, without even bothering to contribute anything of substance to this thread. Annoying to say the least.

Good point Haarithan. We believed GI's roleclaim without looking too much into it. He could be mafia but if he's townie i hate his tactic. He should add something to the discussion rather than staying silent whole time.

That's a bit harsh, don't you think Some people have nothing to post so it wouldn't really work and if they had to post, they would post something pointless which brings suspicion onto them.
