For me he turned a lynch-happy town around at just the right moment and deflected the issue onto Themer vs Haari.

I swear I didn't see that coming, after you'd quoted this yesterday.

From what I can see of the game either Dr Pepper has completely pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, remember he did come up anti town, or you're mafia Haari. I really can't see any other explanation, from my point of view I realise you still believe that I'm mafia.

Sadly for you Dr Pepper has either played a blinder as mafia or is telling the truth.

I actually screwed up twice as the mod. The first time I thought Dr Pepper had been hammered on day 3 and even posted the write-up and locked the thread (!).
Only BKB saw it fortunately...

Then last night I replied too early to RPHKR's investigate and told him that Themer was pro-town. After Mani framed him I had to PM RPHKR again and tell him I'd made a mistake before. Oops...

Fortunately got away with both

I naively believed Mani so presumed it was Ben. Arse biscuits.

Ben, you played pretty well too. The timing of your role-claim was perfect, coming when the focus was between me and Themer. Although I have to say the claim was a tad shocking - a very rare claim plus a second footballer (Abhas being Joey Barton). I was too busy saving myself, and eventually the second footballer part went over my head. While the other townies didn't find the claim odd at all. Again, it was the timing of your claim that was bang-on from your part.

@Colin: That would have been an epic fail moment had any of us seen those comedy of errors.

One of your special abilities in rugby is that you get away with murder at the breakdown. Your hands go in and lo and behold the penalty goes against the opposition. Because of this you're the framer. Every night you can make two players take the blame for your foul play and they will appear as mafia if investigated by the cop. PM me the names of two players each night and they will take the blame instead of you.

You cannot frame the same person two nights running.

You can PM the name of the person you would like to recruit and, provided they are town-aligned, they will join you. Beware trying to recruit a Mafioso is likely to be lethal...
You can't recruit more than one member at a time but, should that member die, you can replace them with someone else. Always two there are. A master and an apprentice...
Recruit members carefully as the right townie could be very helpful to you and yes, continue to go to gym as it does help to be in shape.

Some people think you're all mouth. You've been in your share of trouble in your time too but actually you've got a pretty good idea what's going on and you're happy to be under-estimated.
That's why you're the tracker. You have to track back a lot in football and you also have a shrewd understanding of the criminal mind. Every night you can PM me the name of one person you'd like to track and you'll find out who they visited last night.

You're also a bit of a philosopher so if you want to get your tracker results you must include a quote from someone (not one of your fellow players) in one of your day posts to illustrate a point you are making.
For example if you suspect someone is lying you might post:

I've just had a proper look back and think I made a cock up of the job from night 1. As Haari said, Ben's claim although pretty feeble managed to slip by as it was timed whilst I was hauling through all Haari's posts.

Gonna have to be alot more perceptive next time.

I think we got very lucky though. Maney's claim of Princess was very weak and mine didn't really make sense considering there was a framer (fortunately no one really picked up on that in the write ups).

Oh and the town was too trigger-happy again.

It was a newbie game but you should never hammer someone before hearing them claim (unless you're mafia).
Maybe we should have applied the no defence required principle that you used on MaD when you were nearly hammered on day 3.

A quick tactical thought on protecting millers. I would say that the mafia are unlikely to nightkill a miller as they always look scummy and are easier to get lynched. That said Themer had to decide who was the townie out of three people so it wasn't easy.
