Season is starting to shape up and the fun Fantasy Comps are starting to open up. Nearlysports have opened their competition up, if you sign up soon you'll be ale to get in my league.

Year of the Tiger this year. Deserve it after being robbed by the Roosters and Dragons in last year's final series.

Expecting Farah to be NSW hooker and Lawrence in the chase for centre.

And I see you're a Raiders man, can't say I'm a fan in recent years because of golden point games vs. the Tigers, but overall they're a good young side.
Any other teams you follow or love to hate?

Dragons and Manly are the two I would say I despise the most.

Pretty gutted about the loss on Friday, they teased me the week before only to deliver the same old.

Always had a liking towards the Dogs might be due to having their players in my fantasy teams a few years back. Also like the Storm despite their cheating, they are such a good team to watch and I like how they are coached.

Hate the Warriors for obvious reasons, not a big fan of the Sharks.

Hate the Warriors for obvious reasons, not a big fan of the Sharks.

The Warriors are always way overhyped here in New Zealand, as much as I'd like to see them do well, it's always funny from a non league fans perspective to see the reaction here when they start to lose a few.

Yea it's always funny listening to the media, sometimes talkback after a Warriors loss. This year they were rated in Australia as well, Daley said they could challenge the Dragons and most were saying they were a top 4 team. So far they have been duds.

I expected the Raiders to get up over Brisbane too.. had a horror start if I remember correctly. At 6-4 I thought the Broncos defence would crack first, but wasn't to be.

Storm and Sharks are the others I follow consistently, though neither have had much to cheer about.

I like the Warriors high-risk style, but I can imagine living there would do your head in. And those tweaking Kiwi commentators :facepalm

Don't want to speak too soon and all, but loving this Sharks vs. Dragons game. Dragons have been horrid and currently down 16-0 with 19m on the clock :thumbs
Sharks defence has been brutal too, apart from Dragons being poor.

Sharks look a completely new team since the Raiders smashed them. They are now smashing the Panthers.

Yeah that was a great win by the Sharkies, don't know when I last saw them rack up such a score. I thought last week vs. the Dragons was just a one-off performance against the premiers.

Tigers looked good too, but injuries to Tuquiri (fractured forearm) and Lawrence (dislocated hip) are huge blows this early in the season.

Benji was awesome for you guys, your little known forward pack smashed our overrated one. This was meant to be a much better season for the Raiders but so far it's been new year same crap.

I missed the first half and only caught patches of the second, due to a mate taking his tweaking time, but I'll find a replay during the week sometime.

You've got the Titans at home next week, still winless, so Raiders will have to show that fortress-like defence that wasn't there at the end vs. Brisbane.

After that pathetic effort from the Warriors vs the Dragons Ivans had enough ! Finally grown a pair and made plenty of changes.

Team vs Sharks:

1 GLEN FISIIAHI
2 BILL TUPOU
3 SHAUN BERRIGAN
4 SIMON MANNERING (c)
5 KRISNAN INU
6 FELETI MATEO
7 JAMES MALONEY
8 JACOB LILLYMAN
9 AARON HEREMAIA
10 RUSSELL PACKER
11 LEWIS BROWN
12 UKUMA TA’AI
13 MICHEAL LUCK
Interchange:
14 KEVIN LOCKE
15 SAM RAPIRA
16 BEN MATULINO
17 ELIJAH TAYLOR
18 ALEHANA MARA

Fish at FB over Lance is great, it's a risk but it had to be done. Surprised Lance doesn't make interchange though to cover hooker and FB rather than Locke, I suppose there's plenty of options with Berrigan and Brown there though.
Mannering and Berrigan in the centres will be different which is good, but I don't think Moon should've been dropped, he's been pretty good for us.

Will be very interesting to see how they go with so many changes.

Mateo at five-eighth? I seem to remember him filling in there as like a 4th string for the Eels, but I doubt he'll find much success there.
Vatuvei out injured or something? Moon's a good player too and surprised at Hohaia missing out.
Dropping Seymour is probably a good move, since he'd probably be under heavy fire from the Sharks forward pack.

Well Mateo has been a fail in the forwards so far but can't see him going too well at 5/8 as his best work was always at lock for the Eels.

Raiders need to beat the Titans can't drop another game at home.
