Great game Brad. Now the series is tied.

I can See there still were huge amount of extras.

Should we use the new patch for our next match?

You can start the next one of. Here is my line up.

Sri Lankan Line Up:

1. Jayasuriya
2. Attapatu
3. Sangakarra
4. Jayawardena
5. Dilshan
6. Vandrot
7. Mubarak
8. Chandanna
9. Soyza
10. Vass
11. Muralitharan

Bowling Order

1. Vass
2. Zoysa
3. Murali
4. Chandanna
5. Jayasuriya

The new patch is only a beta, and I think that our scores now are pretty realistic provided we don't use dusty pitches, so I'd rather keep using version 8.

My lineup:

1. Gilchrist (WK)
2. Hayden
3. Ponting (C)
4. Martyn
5. Lehmann
6. Symonds
7. Bevan
8. Hogg
9. Gillespie
10. MacGill
11. McGrath

Bowling:

1. McGrath
2. Gillespie
3. MacGill
4. Hogg
5. Symonds
6. Lehmann

You can't pick Zoysa or Mubarak, they're not in the default squads
I just put Dharmasena and Fernando back in

UPDATE: 10 OVERS

Australia 0/45 (RR- 4.50)

Hayden 18*(30)
Gilchrist 26*(31)

Vaas 5-0-0/16 (RPO- 3.2)
Fernando 5-0-0/29 (RPO- 5.8)

An average start for Australia with the Sri Lankan opening bowlers keeping it tight. Hayden looks scratchy after his magnificent innings last game but Gilchrist is hitting the
ball cleanly and the Aussies look set for a reasonable score.

Yeah, it's all about the pitch.

UPDATE: 15 OVERS

Australia 0/76 (RR- 5.06)

Hayden 25*(43)
Gilchrist 49*(31)

Vaas 8-0-0/38 (RPO- 4.75)
Fernando 5-0-0/29 (RPO- 5.8)
Muralitharan 2-0-0/9 (RPO- 4.5)

The Australians managed to increase their run rate in this period, with Vaas' last 3 overs going for 22. Both batsmen look confident and if they can keep wickets in hand the Aussies are looking at a big total.

UPDATE: 25 OVERS

Australia 2/140 (RR- 5.6)

Ponting 9*(10)
Martyn 0*(1)
Hayden 64(75)
Gilchrist 64(66)

Vaas 10-0-0/53 (RPO- 5.3)
Fernando 8-0-0/53 (RPO- 6.62)
Muralitharan 4-0-0/21 (RPO- 5.25)
Jayasuriya 3-1-2/12 (RPO- 4)

The Australian run rate continues to rise and with wickets in hand a score of 300+ looks possible.

END OF INNINGS

Australia 8/310 (RR- 6.2)

Hayden 64(75)
Gilchrist 64(66)
Ponting 59(52)
Bevan 45(36)

Vaas 10-0-0/53 (RPO- 5.3)
Fernando 10-0-1/75 (RPO- 7.5)
Muralitharan 10-0-2/80 (RPO- 8.0)
Jayasuriya 10-1-3/55 (RPO- 5.5)
Dharmasena 10-0-2/46 (RPO- 4.6)

A very even performance from the Aussies with 4 decent contributions, set up by the openers who kept wickets in hand for the later overs. The Sri Lankan bowlers took a hammering towards the end of the innings with 170 runs off the last 25 overs.
