I guess there is an option to selection which players won't bowl or something like that. Used Syedur Rahman's crisim ages back so I could be wrong.You should teach other league managers how to get only 5 bowlers to bowl
That said, @VC the slogger obviously puts fantastic work in his leagues and ratings as well as stats to collate a brilliant spectacle every single time.

There isn't a option per se but you have to basically rate players you don't want to have a bowl at 99 to prevent them from doing so before a match. Still, you generally need six bowling options marked at the least so the sim won't hand out overs to the likes of David Boon, Brian Lara etc in a 50-over innings. That's pretty much why I always mark a crappy sixth bowling option at 54 normally, so the sim sometimes on rare occasions actually ignores it and goes full quota with the other five. But if someone like for instance Ashantha de Mel in said match has an expensive day, it will revert to it's usual 5+1 crappy option at the death 9 times out of 10.
So, it's actually easier to rate bowlers so the teams get bowled out before reaching the 47/48th over of an innings, just before these clowns usually come out to play as I did several times in my past leagues. But then again, not all pitches allow this so having six proper options is always better.

HNHP might have pictured posting a total in excess of 300 whilst Dennis Amiss and Viv Richards, two early World Cup greats were batting in the middle looking largely untroubled during their 70-run stand. But Daniel Vettori got rid of Amiss, and then Dennis Lillee bounced back from a poor opening spell to claim his arch nemesis Richards for 37. That's the great thing about Lillee, no matter how much you might get on top of him he pretty much always finds a way to recover which he did with a spell of 3 for 40. Two very fine accumulating knocks from Ramnaresh Sarwan and Asanka Gurusinha laid the perfect platform for the SOPs to exceed everyone's expectations and post a 300-plus total, which they did in the end thanks to the underappreciated 1983 World Cup hero Yashpal Sharma. It was perhaps only fitting that the Caribbean-born Jofra Archer was his best self whilst bowling on the same cauldron where his fast bowling forebears terrorized many a batter during the West Indies' golden decade between the '70s and '80s. His fiery spell of 4 for 53 off 9.3 overs where he claimed the wickets of the dangerous big hitting Kiwi duo of Jacob Oram and Lance Cairns, aided in bringing up a third victory on the trot for the SOPs, something prevously unprecedented from a side containing draft rejects.

We were playing the best team in the competition, so it was always going to be a hard task. The bowlers did great to trigger a collapse, but the batters collapsed like a house of cards themselves.
