Mitchell Aaron Starc
One of Australia's best ever pacer Mitchell Starc is already legend in the making in a relatively short cricketing career. The performance of Starc in the 2015 WC was nothing but outstanding which took his career by leaps and bound. Starc single handedly tore through the batting lineups in the tournament picking up 22 wickets at an average of 10.18 with economy of 3.15 and was adjudged man of the tournament for that. The inswinging toe crushers which he bowled throughout the tournament that too at a pace of 150 kmph with a mix of chin music was a absolute delight to watch and the match against New Zealand in the group stages where he almost won the match by steering through the Kiwi batting lineup picking up 6 - 28 was an enthralling spell.

The World Cup was a turning point in Starc's career as he became spearhead of the Australia's attack across all format and dominated the the 50 over format to become the fastest bowler to reach 100 ODI wickets and also did well to cement his place in the longest format as well.

I would've picked him over Hayden. End of Convo. Reeeee
It depends who do you want. An opener or a spinner. Both are great picks. What has surprised me about Warne is he played only 2 world cups. His numbers are fantastic. So good pick.

Wow Starc seems a fantastic pick actually now that I see his stats in the 2015 WC. Although I personally wouldn't have preferred him so early especially with one guy still unpicked!

Also guys, the overall stats do not matter here. Please post the WC stats only if you feel like.[DOUBLEPOST=1538503353][/DOUBLEPOST]@Ashutosh. you're up.

@Bhumi I will try and run a test draft after this finishes.

Australia's greatest World Cup player still remains unclaimed. Interesting.

If you're talking about Gary Gilmour then he only played 2 WC games and the minimum requirement here is 3. If it is someone else then I don't know who it is tbh. For me, Glenn McGrath is the one.

Nope, not Gary Gilmour (but close enough). And yeah, McGrath is one of the greatest ever in WCs but the player I have in mind makes him and all others look quite ordinary by comparison.

That is saying something. Yep there are some players who really should have been picked by now and ahead of some already picked. But McGrath looking ordinary with those stats, I can't wait to hear who it is unless it is someone who was surprisingly good with the ball for Australia in the WCs and also scored runs being primarily a batsman.

I was not online for the last one day. I will pick my player soon.
