Official Birthday Greetings thread

Most of the Indians do like spicy food. Especially in the Western Part and in the North. In Mumbai we get a lot of variety of spicy fast foods like Pani-Puri, Bhel-Puri, Sev-Puri, Vada Pav, etc etc. These are being sold on streets (they do maintain cleanliness these days and equal care is taken of hygiene). And these people actually earn more than many well-known businessman in India. I am not talking about people like Mukesh Ambani (CEO of Reliance Industries) and Narayan Murthi (Founder of Infosys Ltd) though :p
We have an Indian colleague who sometimes brings his home cooked Indian food in, I've tried his spicy chicken which is delicious, his curry is a bit too hot for me though.:p
Is the food cooked on the street too? I'd like to see that, i like seeing how different cultures do things.
I saw on TV once 2 American guys turned a disused school bus into a fully working food outlet, it was amazing watching them cook food and serving it to customers who were queuing up. :)

Sorry I don't know about it much as I am not a non-veg eater but some of my friends do eat it infact most of them do, they too like the chicken to be fried in oil and it is a bit spicy but yeah they don't eat it daily but once in a while.

Yes they do. Infact sometimes people fight for it to eat such food just because they see it being cooked and get attracted towards it :lol

They fight for the food, sounds like an evening at McDonalds!:lol

I love to watch food being prepared, so i do watch the cookery channel a lot.
When my colleague first joined us we were baffled as to where the lovely smell of food was coming from, especially the chicken, we soon realised it was coming from his office! :p

To return the favour, Happy Birthday to @Saffron, hope you have a lovely day :cheers

Btw why my post was being quoted ? :D:D:lol

Happy Birthday @Saffron, it was a nice experience to have that conversation with you. Certainly it was like exchange of ideas among different people of different Countries from different cultures. That is the thing I like about these forums which isn't the thing you get on social media, you hardly have a quality discussion over there
