My brother went to college there but I've never been,

Dallas is basically a collection of very rich suburbs put together with snooty, conservative and ignorant people.

I'd actually like to check out the Gulf of Mexico. For some reason I thought that Texas was landlocked. Talk about a geography fail, haha.

I know what you mean about Family Guy. I'd be annoyed too. One of the very few good shows on TV. I even like American Dad, though it doesn't draw as many laughs as Family Guy.

I don't hate it, I've accepted it for what it is, unstructured humor that proposes Seth McFarlane's personal political agenda.

Once you accept that you can enjoy the show for what it is. It will never compare to South Park for me though

It's actually a long wait, still 48 hours to go! Oh well, at least we have the two right teams in the series. Another Yankees/Phillies series would have sucked

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and the mayor of Arlington, TX, Robert Cluck, have agreed to make a wager on the series.

Here's the deal -- each mayor has agreed that the loser will provide a day of community service in the winner's town while wearing a jersey of the winning team.

But there's more -- the losing mayor will also ship the winning mayor a bunch of delicious hometown goodies. If SF loses, Newsom has agreed to ship Dungeness crab, sourdough bread, Ghirardelli chocolate and Anchor Steam beer.

If Texas loses, Cluck has agreed to ship over BBQ food from a local joint called Spring Creek BBQ ... said to be the best in TX.

For the first time I watched a World Series match live on TV. I just wanted to see what's it all about.

I don't understand all the statistics, but it seems the Texas Rangers pitcher Cliff Lee is a pretty good pitcher. They were talking about that he could go to the Yankees.

I am not familiar with baseball plays, but I find that Texas Rangers made a couple of big mistakes. I didn't see the homerun of the Giants. In the end Texas Rangers made some points, so I thought it could get exciting again. But the Giants scored too many points already.

The Giants used 7 or 8 pitchers. I find that a lot.
