Pak Vs Ind - TV Graphics

ive just about given up on this patch lol. a shame aye?

Yes it is a shame but I still hope it can come out. I havent been able to help on this one as have had lots of work to do for university but I feel what has been done has been ok.
Anyone who has tried making a TV patch will know that changing the graphics files and the config files to make a TV patch it is one of the hardest things to do for Cricket 2004..perhaps only slightly easier than editing the EXE.

It takes a great amount of time and patiece to edit something, run the game, see how it looks, quit the game, edit it again, run the game again, see how it looks etc. etc. This is often done up to 100s of times to get something in the right place chaning the values which control the co-ordinates position of graphics in small intervals to get it right.

hmm, hard work is much appreciated, hope another kind of impression was not portrayed... for someone like myself, a 17 year old lad, who has a pretty much laid back lifestyle, time isnt an issue for me so i tend to get a little impatient... great work guys, hope the patch can be released soon, if not - whenever..! :p

Sigh! your right ste,it is terribly tiring.

This is the first time i'm doing something useful for the game.

How do i move the logos and fonts to their right place?

Dont worry Waraa,
i suppose members care less about this patch anyways.
we'll look forth to other ones.

must be smooth and must have a gradiant.
seems to be the most difficult tv patch to do.

I used Bharat's tutorial to create alpha layers in the graphics. I use Photoshop 7.0.
But while saving the file, when i change the format from .psd to .tga, the alpha layer is disabled and it says " file must be saved as copy within this selection".......What should I do?

I tried to do it but my photoshop just can't stop crashing. So here's a tip for you waraa. To make the whitish portion if the overlay look bevelled. Try creating a channel, select the portion which you want to make it look bevelled. Fill the selection with white(in channels tab, create a new channel and then on that new channel, with the selection of the bar, fil the selection with white color). Now without disselecting, just blur the selection about 4 times taking half the value each time (eg. Blurr with value 20, then next time with 10, then 5 etc.) With the selection still on, Goto the Layers tan and select the layer where you've designed thewhite portion. Now render it with the channel you created.

Hope you understand what I said. Try it, if you cant, give me your TGA files since I dont have any. Else I'll have to try and create it from scrath.

I've made the alpha layers(Thanks to Anil Dharani's advice). Still not the best, but some improvement.Loads of work to be done.

I need some help. I've downloaded Prakash's Config editor, but it says a file called richtx32.ocx is missing. I know Prakash has provided a link to this file, but when i click on the link it says page cannot be found.
