Hi, this is my first thread of cricket 2005.
I am not so good at the game, so I will be playing without patches.
As Australia A toured a sucesessfull tour of Pakistan this year. This is a winter tour of Australia. Just a little short one.

And I will be taking screenshots with Paint...

This tour was just to be cancelled untill Ea Sports was ready to sponse the hole tournament! GO EA!! :happy (lol)

A little report:

Pakistan A had the worst start ever loosing starlet opener Salman Butt on a first ball duck. LBW by Gillespie. Things didn't get better with a run out and a few wickets. That made the score a horrible 2/3 for Pakistan after 2 overs.
After Imran Nazir took a single and another wicket fell. Moin Khan and Imran Nazir had a big clean up to do. 3/3 after 3 overs.
Moin Khan started off with a boundary and a couple of singles, as Imran Nazir the aggressive guy we know, tried to settle his both foots in his cross.
As Moin Khan was around 30, and Imran Nazir aroun 20. Imran hit a six.
And after that the confidence came with the time.
And the Imran Nazir show started.
Imran Nazir was playing very well and got his deserved fast half century.
But for Moin Khan, it was the different way. The left alone wicketkeeper for the Senior squad now skipper for the A team proved that his batting is still not dead. Even getting out and partnership breaking at 118. Moin Khan got an important contrabutin 41. Imran Nazir continued as Yasir Arafat hit a shot and got out. In the last over before Lunch, Imran Nazir hit 2 consecutive sixies, and on the third Shane Warne got his first wicket. On the next ball another one for Warney. And after the lunch, it was only 2 overs required to dismiss Pakistan A on 178. A small total, very hard to defend against one of the worlds strongest test sides.....
But still, more than 3 and a half day of play remaining.....

Dissapointing..
No reply..
I played 90 overs yesterday and today! OMG that is much!!
Anyways....

Lead by 176 runs? Easy, Australia can easliy make 500 runs and declare after one wicket or to. That was the thought of many people sitting in the crowd. But you never know in cricket. Pakistan A had a bad start in the first over with 9 runs conceded. But in the 3rd over, the wicket fell. An edge and a good catch in the slips. Another wicket fell and both of the openers were gone. 24/2. Ponting and Martyn had a good partnership, but Kaneria got them both after a small contribution by both. Good start by Pak A.
Australia 78/4. Katich and Gilchrist had a good partnership. Gilchrist making a half century, and Katich going early. Australia 137/5. A dream start for Pakistan A. But this was Shane Warnes day. Or the Australian tailenders day, Gilchrist wen't after his half century leaving the Aussies 184/6. And a brilliant partnership that probably ruined the day for the Pakistanis put Australia in charge. In the ending overs Danish Kaneria finally got the big wickets. But much damage was done. Next day, the Pakistani fast bowlers didn't let Gillespie and MacGrath make many runs. Australia all out for 401.

Everyone exept Yasir Hameed & Moin Khan bowled.
And we have seen MANY SIXIES

Ouch,...100 for Warney and 50 for Lee and Gilly...that must have stung...

It's easy hitting sixies after getting the confidence up
And the reason Warne hit many sixies was that I was frustrated couldn't get him out, so I was giving him full tosses from Kaneria and very defensive fielding, but he just hit over them! =P
And does anywone here have any tips how to edge the batsmen? And yeah, I dropped 15 catches, 10 of them from the same player. Gilchrist and Warne was dropped on 0!
But I found out that I have only played 1 day in the game not 2 days. So I am in the 3rd innings already now.. and in the beginning of the second day. So I have to bat a little more chill, because Pakistan A do have a chance....
