Does Gilly know that this is a test match, and not a one day match? he's frigging murdering pakastani bowling right here.

not the first time we've seen from him..some entertainment on cards if he stays there.

ok here we go

102.5 Mohammad Asif to Gilchrist, FOUR, full ball lofted back over the
bowlers head
102.4 Mohammad Asif to Gilchrist, SIX, swung cross batted over midwicket
102.3 Mohammad Asif to Gilchrist, SIX, not that short but swung from the
stumps out over the fence forward of square leg

Gilchrist is on fire, this is amazing to watch! He needs one more run to score the most test centuries as a wicket keeper. He's currently level with Andy Flower

Edit: There we go, six to bring up the hundred off 108 balls

LOL! couple more 6s..poor Asif having a worst possible debut..

You know, its only the umpiring thats lost us this match!
( I am missing Fardin, Durrani, Faraz and all those Pakistan supporters.... they are so quiet right now... probably trying to figure out a good excuse for Shoaib and Pakistan... :watchtv )
Brilliant stuff by Gilly... even Ponting is just watching him. :hpraise

I doubt you'll find too many all rounders with stats like that

I agree not too many all rounders can have stats like those. Its a tough thing to achieve 45-50 batting average alone, leave aside trying to maintain 23-30 average for bowling.

A good allrounder would be batting average of 30+ with bowling average of around 28-32 over a period of at least 30-35 test matches.

rahulk exactly shahid afridi has the stats what you have mentioned in your post.He has average of 32 with his batting and bowling 32%.I dont think that is a bad average considering that he is not officially a test player. He is sort of an odi player.I have seen his 100 againts sri lanka couple of times and that was absloutely brilliant and not to mention that he was only 16 year's old.

sorry to said that but mohamad asif and akamal are killing aus.50 partnership between genuined batsman akamal and tailender asif.
I dont know why they send mohamad asif when 9 wickets are down.
Looking at his batting he seems more like a batsman rather then a bowler
great work youngster.
