Pakistan in South Africa

wow only Afridi did any good at bowling. Asif was not his usual self today, hopefully Pakistan make this interesting.

says on cricinfo that Afridi got into a altercation with a fan.

Brilliant fielding by South Africa. All four catches were very tough and a lesser opposition would've dropped them. That has been the difference between Pakistan and South Africa throughout the tour.

The Pakistan batsmen are better than this. There bowlers left them too much to do

just read the comment someone posted on cricinfo, a comment about Inzamam.

Sohail says: "I'm great admirer of Inzamam as a player but not with his captaincy. No.1 why has choose to bowl & bat second in the innings, when most of ur players are playing only second math of the tour. And if they have already made a huge score, wht was the need to send Afridi at 2 down. when again most of the player required to stay at the wicket for not only remaining matches but also for the world cup. You can expect miracle from Afridi when he needs to get his form back. I don't believe if Pakistan can play their full overs today."

What's all this business about Afridi and a fan? I missed it.

Pakistan got a right owning today in the field. Asif wasn't that bad though. Going at 6 an over compared to the absolute pies that Sami and Rana where hurling down is pretty good.

it wasn't that bad. some fan was giving him stick and he poked his bat at his head. didn't hit him though and i don't think it would have done to much damage had it

just as Yousuf was gettin into rythym...he gets out...all over for me now...

Pakistan's bowling was mauled to pieces today. Without strike bowlers, they're always going to struggle in ODI games. Did they miss another full time spinner today? Who knows?

I personally think that Pakistan's bowling looks pretty weak without Shoaib Akthar, particularly in one day games.

there goes Inzi...i will be surprised if they make over 200 now...

for me Pakistan wont be a good test or ODI squad untill they solve the opening problem. SAF inings show how crucial the openers are they set the tone for the rest of SAF inings.

and there goes Inzamam, this is just ridiculous, no ofence to england but they could have done better than Pakistan.

I forgot this match was going on today, missing all the business of a massive ODI score. There's no way Pakistan's batsmen can be blamed though. Ul-Hasan's figures come close to the Mick Lewis, Harmy's and Murali's of the last year.

Even Inzi fails now, could be over very, very soon.

i wana put a vote out, how many of you think that the dummie pakistan selectors wont make many changes to the squad. 1st of all, Rehman the left arm spinner needs to be in there after having a great series against West Indies, some new Bowlers like Ali Anwer from the last Under 19 team needs to get a chance to bowl.

Pakistan just collapsing without a fight now. To be honest they would rather get out and be back in the pavilion than still be batting

Rehman was probably dropped after his poor showing in the T20 on Friday. To be honest, I would like to see Kaneria in there for the ODI's. Its a bit like the Monty situation but I think Pakistan would benefit from having a wicket taking spinner in those middle overs.
