Also - I don't think we released how much Babar form had an impact on Rizwan - made him play far more aggressively. With him struggling (and potentially the slower UAE tracks), Rizwan was always striking at only 120 for someone who bats in the powerplay!! Our powerplays were wasted time and time again

PCB medical department already destroyed Haris Sohail, Umar Gul and Junaid Khan's careers following knee injuries. Good thinking by Shaheen to get his own treatment and ask for reimbursement from the PCB.

Thankfully Shahid Afridi exposed it and shamed the PCB - so that he actually gets the reimbursement from the PCB. Imagine if this hasn't been discovered.

The saddest part about the whole affair is that potentially if this injury had been sorted at the right time - he would have been available in the Asia Cup and the England Series rather than going in to the WC with no real match practice.
