Patch#2 Notes - Patch is Live

I've not had chance to experience patch 2 yet but i'm a little concerned by the freezing issue (PS3) in which many people are reporting. I really don't want to lose my saved progress, spent hours on my current competition mode.

I don't think many on ps3 are reporting freeze issues, it's mostly been Xbox

If straight drives are working then I can bet you they aren't that efficient...some work and some don't hence I guess some effort still to be done to fine tune those straight drives.

I have suffered no freezing thus far, just juddery slow-down on occasions.

To be fair, that's appears to be a low full toss that has come off the bottom of the bat.

tbf, playing straight drives to full length deliveries if timed well go along the ground generally. It's playing the shot to good length deliveries that usually results in aerial shots, but isn't this more akin to real life?

And a straight drive to a good length (i.e. not too full) delivery in the meat is likely to get you in trouble.

Don't get me wrong, I think there's something suspect about the physics model, in terms of how well it captures reality, and I think there's some further issues with how this is reflected in the graphical representation.

I just wanted to point out that to the right delivery, a straight drive past the bowler is entirely possible.

Was just playing a test match in career mode and the match was drawn. Could there be an indication where it would say how many overs are left to chase the total? It's sad hat I ended 20 short of the total

Second session of this test match against India (on pro) and they are now 176/9. Have had two edges but they have been off a cut shot that neither Rohit or Dhoni should have played and they both top edged onto stumps. Other than that it's been catches in the deep and a bowled off of someone's legs.

Ross : The batsman playing a pull shot when the ball is full on off stump should be removed and he must play leg glance even if there's chance of LBW...The current response of pull shot animation to such a delivery is not realistic at all...

PS3 however does have severe frame rate issue. Game has become almost unplayable as it lags almost every other ball.
