Patch 3 Released on Xbox One and PS4

I just played a game and it was raining at the start and it got shortened because of it

the game freezes on startup, if i am signed in,

if i'm not signed in i can get to the menu screen, if i do manage to get to the first over of the game the game shows the bowler getting ready for his run-up, the sounds begin looping

simulating to my career player gives me a black screen

all of this started happening after i downloaded the latest patch

playing the game on XBOX ONE

Mine has been doing this also. I did the hard reset and the un install re install etc. Still does it unfortunately. When the game does work, it is awesome though. Much nicer game to play, and I loved it before.

I'm betting a lot of people don't mind not accidentally leaving a straight one every so many overs now. I certainly know 7 other players in person who're glad not to. Still can leave swiftly with X/A myself.

I am having an issue when playing online co-op where a '6' becomes 4 runs. It happens most frequently when scoring square of the wicket. IIRC, this was an issue with some PC players when the patch was released.

Have put patch on ps4 and had quick go on my career mode wow it's great from piercing the onside squarer and the little p for in power play to press triangle to go Straight back to you batting .
Been in on don bradman from the start and it's still the game I play every week , just top quility ...

No doubt, and I'm genuinely envious of that. Plus controllers get older and more slack, which make it's easier to click them in without meaning to.
Plus I agree that customising control for such things would be great. I'm not someone who thinks things should be just the way I like them, so maybe in the next one, hopefully?

just did a fresh install of the game, still having this problem.......

One thing I have become quite annoyed with, which seems like it has been due to the patch. I have the problem on both ps3 and ps4. When I am batting, the slip fielders NEVER make the catch. I have been dropped in the slips every time I edge it behind! The wicket keeper will still catch them, but when it is out of his reach, the slips do not. Anyone else having this problem?
