Scoop is easy to time as well.

All the unorthodox shots are easy after 1.07.

Yep..Got to lower the ideal timing window for them as well.
Have to try with low advanced shots skill for batsman

Its not about skills currently. It how it is designed. Straight and cover drives and all unorthodox shots are over powered. Shots square and behind are under powered. Cut shots are triggered even for pitched up deliveries.
Gameplay has to be balanced at base level. Attributes and Skills should make it difficult/easier to time.

What about unorthodox shots?

The reverse sweep is overpowered. I dont really use any other unorthodox shots

Just an FYI , on PS4 after the Patches, I havent been able to see any Cracks.

Seems Some Pitch Attibutes are totally overriding their compatriots in the Visual Department.

Pitch visuals for Ashes Cricket have been somewhat of a disaster from the get go. Hopefully this and the paddling pool deep leaves are key focuses of the net patch.

The general texture of green or dusty pitch isnt that great looking, its visually drab compared to dbc 14. That along with deterioration not saving just makes it bland looking at times.

The green need to be greener, cracks need to be darker, dusties needs to be redder in worn patches.

PC mods aren't going to help most people unfortunately. Also due to the way the pitches are rendered since DBC17 it's going to be quite hard to get each one looking truly unique.

Well the pitches already look better on PC apparently.

I might look into the textures some more this weekend though.

Ah at last someone who agrees with me! Yep I am finding straight and extra cover/ cover are far too easily available as a shot and go to the boundary with too much ease for my liking!

Reducing the Drive skill of the batsmen, reducing shot power to 0 or 10 and Self rule of not scoring more than 2 boundaries in the cover area helps. Inorganic way but its a deal breaker for me in Tests, when the off side is vacant, and it's easy pickings. AI not changing fields to plug that gap, doesn't help either. One positive though that the AI puts a Cover around 15 overs in the game and men on the boundary around the 30th over. Seems mechanical though, as these field changes have nothing to do with the game scenario. I might be wrong, but that's the experience I had

Hundred in ODI on while batting on Hard difficulty and Legend match difficulty.

On the issue of drives, I got my first century with the new patch. Maybe it's the ground size/shape, the player settings, the weakness of shots or my timing being off but there's a definite difficulty getting boundaries that aren't straight down the ground.

Hey guys in my local files i found a text document named version and it says i have "0.1.0493 patch107 retail" dose it mean that i have patch 1.07? but i updated my game to the latest patch..can some help me out on this?

@MattW Can the runout bug, where the AI ball watches, be fixed soon atleast? It's making bowling really frustrating. I dont have the patience anymore to keep restarting the game every 5 overs.
