It is that time of year again, PlanetCricket's annual awards. Following on from last year we will be including cricketing awards again, as well as the usual forum and member awards.
To keep it simple this year, we've organised a list of our categories from last year, with some minor changes.
You will have until the 10th of July to nominate, and are allowed one nomination per category. Please don't edit your posts, as a list will be kept in this post of nominations so far - and your nominations may be missed if you edit your old posts.
Three nominations are needed for someone/thing to be included in the final voting and you may not nominate yourself or ask others to do so for you.
So, with that out of the way, the categories:
Cricket Awards
These awards are for events and performances since this time last year. Breakthrough Cricketer replaces 'Best New Cricketer' and is designed to highlight cricketers making a breakthrough into international cricket this year. I'd hope that users try and not just vote for their favourite cricketers/team, and look at merit.

Most Improved Cricketer
Member Awards
The member awards are mostly unchanged, with an addition of Best Mafia Game owing to that area's huge growth in activity over the last year. Best Download Maker is for overall quality, best patch is for a single download/megapatch. Group work may be nominated for best patch, but best download maker is for individual work.
Best Post Contributor is our most prestigious award, for the member whose posts contribute the most to the forum overall.
