PC-CD Or PC-DVD?

Not necessarily, there have been DVD-only releases before and the number will only increase- DVD-ROM drives are incredibly cheap now, there's no reason not to have one and game companies shouldn't be bothering to support people that are using outdated technology

i agree with you, brad352. someone who like to play BLIC in a good quality have to own a sensible system. the one will also have a DVD drive which does not cost much. fardin try to buy a dvd drive - not only for this game, for future games too. at a point of time, there will be only DVD releases !! whereas its only my advice to you.

Me too don't have a DVD-ROM.
Rubber once mentioned in the codemasters forum that the might be released in CD-ROM in asian countries(The huge fans of cricket).so i am very confident that the game would be released in CD-ROM here.

Fardin, what do you mean you have paid 500 dollars already on the game? And as for CD/DVD, although DVD's are the future, cricket games have a huge market (even after accounting for piracy) in the sub-continent. The hardcore gamers will have a DVD-ROM with a nice video card but there are many people who cannot afford to get one. It's their call. I'm fine. :D

But Codemasters here cannot afford to release it DVD only.

I agree with you about the fact that companies should not support people using outdated technology, but they will end up releasing it in both versions to get more people to buy the game.
From what I have heard, this game will be a DVD only. I remember Rubber mentioning that the game being released in PCCD format is very unlikely, due to the high amount of data that the game contains.

Also I agree with brad on this one. DVD roms are a must today, and anyone without one might as well stop using their PCs.

Cricket 2005 on the other hand will be released in PCCD format.

Oh,then I suppose you'll have to buy a DVD rom,Fardin.

Oh man ok I will buy a dvd rom as well and Then install it,Dont know If i can make my dad agree on that but will try.

If it will release on DVD. Then I will buy the DVD Drive and now these days it is lot cheaper to buy the DVD Drive.
