Using CricSim. There will be in-game screens or so to make it interesting. Everything above is random selection. Captains are needed for 3 teams who afterwards can select their deputies. Now, what I want to know is should I decide the captains (randomly)? Or you guys are going to appoint one for your teams?

If yes, then create 3 gripus and invite the members of respective team and ask them to elect their captain, and choosing their own name shouldn't be allowed.

I'm loving Meet's idea. Create 3 discussions in the SG and quickly ask each member to post his choice(no self voting). Also alert the unaware members via updating the thread title. First person to achieve 4/5 votes shall be considered the skipper.

What you can do is-
1.Create 3 polls here.
2.Give the links of the 3 polls.
3.Set the number of votes required to become a captain.(As haari suggested).
