Assofty, that's a terrible mindset to have. Just because cricket is the only sport anyone cares about in India (not even hockey, really) doesn't mean that the rest of the world is limited to that.

Many of us are big football or rugby fans, and although this is a cricket site what is limiting us from posting up these? Maybe not for this competition that is the Graphics Maker of the Week, but if people want to make other sigs individually what is the problem with that?

We haven't allowed anything other than cricket yet. Though, this is one rule I'm keen on changing. Probably we can have 5 weeks (from a total of 25 weeks that we have per season) where the theme is some other sport (or sorts) other than cricket. I'll have a chat with KBC about this.

for any other sport, find a forum, get a membership there and just go gfxing on your favourite sport...

I really like what Pranav has said, there must be some weeks where we have themes other then cricket(not necessarily related to some but random ones). I guess it becomes boring with themes related to just one particular thing. As Parnav has mentioned that we will only have 5 weeks with random themes so it will also not disturb the taste of a Cricket GFX Competition.
