Assofty, that's a terrible mindset to have. Just because cricket is the only sport anyone cares about in India (not even hockey, really) doesn't mean that the rest of the world is limited to that.

Many of us are big football or rugby fans, and although this is a cricket site what is limiting us from posting up these? Maybe not for this competition that is the Graphics Maker of the Week, but if people want to make other sigs individually what is the problem with that?

Yup, this. Would love to see a week where we can do other sports, for which the dynamics of a sig can be just a bit different to in cricket, where they move less, less interaction with team-mates, etc.

I've said it already. There are few select themes for for weeks. And if you wanna get some out-of-cricket refreshment go somewhere else. There are many forums. This competition is for emphasizing cricket graphics. I agree It shouldn't get bored so there are few select themes for few weeks.

To be perfectly honest it doesnt say anywhere this competition is specifically for cricket graphics. Just the forum name which is planetcricket - but this is in the general section. And about 95% of people I've seen make better football graphics than cricket ones - it's no secret.

Ah well. Also Pranav I'm not gonna enter this week so I'll be able to judge

I as much love football. And I'm not saying This is just cricket place mate. There will be weeks for freestyle stuff not just football but greater emphasis is on cricket. I'll look into putting some "freedom" from the next week. Won't say what of it. But would make you all glad.

It doesn't work that way blake. Either you are a full time Panel Member or you aren't one. We had you on the panel for a month or two, but IIRC you rated the entries only once in that time. Plus, you didn't even care to reply to any of the reminders that were sent to you.

We were already following those guidelines... Didn't really see the point of it tbh. It didn't tell me anything new.
