I already told that this style came popular only after pranav used it!,And I totally agree with it.

But you can't underrate Neo,He did lots of things which the whole PC members can't do,The only -ve thing with Neo,Is that he isn't active in forums,But you can't blame him for not being active,It is his own personal life.

So the truth is, Neo started this style in planetcricket.

Monzi, you might not know but Neo and I are very good friends and I have immense respect for him as a graphic maker. He's a really good person and is always ready to help one with graphics. He's a brilliant graphic member and I'm sure we agree about this. Neo started this style on pc is other thing but he isn't the one who started this style in the world. :p The whole point is, any one can try typography. Typography is usually quite similar but what matters in typography, is the style! Neo made a wallpaper on Warne, Pranav on Afridi and I made a typography on test cricket, all were made on different topic.

Neo's wallpaper and Pranav's wallpaper are not at all similar in my opinion.
You are very wrong.

And I don't know why Pranav took it as a criticism! Every person is inspired from someone. If not Neo, the inspiration for Pranav could have been from someone else. Its not that Neo invented the style, even he would have been inspired by some sort of artwork.

True.

Copying and taking inspiration are two different things, my friend. Neo's wallpaper and Pranav's wallpaper are not at all similar in my opinion. As Pranav mentioned, the way you're saying the things it feels that you believe "that all typographic artworks are identical and all vectors are inspired from each other"! All the typography's that were made after Neo's and Pranav's typography's were all inspired and not ripped. Each typography was made on different topic, the one I made was not similar to the one that Neo or Pranav made. It was just a try from my side.

I don't know if Pranav was inspired from Neo's wallpaper or not, but clearly the typography he made was different from the one that Neo made. Monzi, please don't mind, you do know we are good friends.
:cheers

Tbh,I am not against Pranav.

but the same thing was done,By a guy(Entry 3),So it doesn't mean he copied this style from others. But people like Viral Shah says that it was copied from Pranav:facepalm.Though there may be a probablity of it ,But i just said that Neo Started this style....and I dint underrate Pranav.....But you all create such big problems,For just sharing information and history about the Style...But You all people making me to say WTF??

Same is the case for the guy who made the entry 3!

I dint say no to it,But Neo was one step ahead of Pranav in introducing this style to planetcricket,This is what i am trying to prove for the last 2 pages.

But Pranav, just say from the bottom of your heart, that haven't you inspired by Neo,And did this wall?

No, I didn't.

You edited the part where you said that you'll move your fat ass away if I said 'no'. So, move on...

I am always kind enough to mention the name of the creator if I take an inspiration from his artwork. You can have a look at the various posts in my thread to decide for yourself. Here I post a few of them:

http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/2046100-post4338.html

http://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu251/pranavpathak/Icons/Gilchrist1.jpg - was not able to find the exact post, but I clearly remember that I credited the original creator when I posted this in my thread. You can see for yourself i.e. if you manage to find the post.

I don't why, but you have a habit of poking your nose unnecessarily. I remember having an argument with you on a somewhat similar issue an year or so back. Prior to that, you had a similar argument with KBC.

Don't question a staff member on such issues, or you'll end up making a fool out of yourself. Like you did here!
18 year old kid,I am just talking about the "No I din't",and not that edited part.Use your common sense.

By your logic all typographic artworks are inspired from each other! To draw a comparison to the real world, all cricketers are inspired from each other! OR all news channels are inspired from each other!

Wow, just wow!

Guys can we get this thread back on track. If you want to continue this rather meaningless discussion do it through pms or elsewhere, but not here.

You actually have a read at this thread, Jono? :p

Yeah, let's keep this thread clean. Monzi and Yudi, you guys are free to PM and we can discuss this all day.

Putting my mod hat on, any further posts regarding this topic would be deleted.

As you guys might have read at 'I am leaving/back thread', I'll be away for 15 days come this Monday.

Therefore, this round's results will get delayed.

Haven't talked to anyone yet. The last I contacted KBC, he was busy with exams.

Matt is one person who could manage this and given his nature, he would most probably agree. Though, considering we have a special round next week which is supposed to have an unusual theme (which is further partially based on the theme given by the winner), I thought it would be better to have a short break.

That said, I could still ask him to manage this, but I'll have to forward him all the themes, names of each participant and deadline for next round - which is equivalent to updating the first post with results. I doubt that I'll have so much time on my hands as I have lots of stuff planned for tomorrow (packing, getting the car serviced etc.).

So, enjoy the short break! :)
