wow by seeing these great magazine covers I want to try something similar to them so I'll be making a magazine cover the entries are off now but still I will gain more experience on magazine covers

Entry #1 seems to be the only viable one to win in my mind. Classy and appropriate. Otherwise entry #5 should get it, though, I do have gripes with it as a magazine cover. Mainly due to attention to its use of space and layout.

Again, with #3 and #4, whilst being visually appealing, they don't really fulfill the criteria.

#1 It actually looks classy. A complete one. Entry 5 is actually a good piece but I wouldn't rate it above entry 1.
