How can one really say they actually 'suck'...!? Sigs of entry 3 and 2 involve so much work and is it so easy to say they 'suck'? Can this '0' be explained? and upon what criteria are they being judged?
 
Well, I think what we can do is, we can ask all the panel members to select the best entry out of all instead of giving them points. So, whoever gets most 'votes' by the panel members wins. If there's a tie, I don't know what happens.
 
lol cant really rely on this type of judging which takes 2 weeks ..!:eek: Matt W . is really silly man What do you mean by saying it sucks .. and you give it a zero . When your works are treated in this way ... you would understand maybe :facepalm

I just took a very quick glance at them after receiving a reminder PM from Pranav while I was just about to leave, so it was mostly just picking my favourite.

If I were to rate again, I'd still give entry 1 and 4 a 0 - they have no redeeming factors, but 3 is probably worth a 6 and I'm indifferent to 2, so it would probably get a 4.
 
Cool. I wouldn't ever give a zero but if Matt judges you like that, it's his style, and you have to move your butts on to the next round. Nothing's going to come out of complaining about his ratings.

Working better is your only real way. How much better? Depends on you. Take these 0s as a sting to do better or an insult, depends on you.

PCGMC Announcement:

Given the lack of entries from the past two weeks and the bonus rounds, the PCGMC has been temporarily discontinued. I reckon everyone has been a bit busy of late which reflects in the activity of the graphics forum. I plan to pick this up again once the graphics forum gets back to usual.

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm pleased to announce that the Planet Cricket Graphics Maker Championship is back! We'll be continuing from where we left, which means they're still about 7 rounds left for this season to get over. The voting for the rest of the rounds would be done via a poll, that is we're done with the concept of the PCGMC Panel. Though, I'd like to warn everyone that if anyone is caught asking for votes or voting for self, he would be immediately disqualified.

Theme and deadline for Round #13 can be found on the first post.

Hopefully we'll see a lot of entries as the competition is still wide open.

A couple of guys sent me a PM asking whether they could have some more time to prepare an entry. This being the first round after PCGMC's return, I want to allow maximum participation. Thus, I'm extending the deadline till tomorrow. I'll be be putting up the entries tomorrow night (around 10 PM IST), so just make sure you PM me your entry before that.

For me, entry 5 seems to be very well made and is closely followed by entry 4.

Please note that asking for votes and/or voting for self is strictly prohibited. Anyone found doing so will be immediately DISQUALIFIED.

Wow, loved entries 3, 4 and 5. Given it was freestyle, I'll go with 3. Just looks so perfect! 4 is close but, 3 gets my vote.
