'Ah well, it was a pretty good start for us. Bowlers did their job, Redo and Puneeth were fab and wrapped them up quickly. Never really worried about the chase. Zohaib was instructed to go and take the attack to the opposition bowlers, he did that well. Very pleasing.'

Planet Cricket Demolish Germany.

Planet Cricket have made there Debut in the World of Cricket, They Dominated the Game From the beginning.
Germany were unabled to post a deceent total after an Outstanding opening bowling pair of Puneetkumar and Red.
Having Lost 2 Wicket in there first over, with the first wicket falling on the first ball, Germany were unable to rebuild.
The lasttwo pair of Germany batting lineup had given Germany little hope, but due to lack of patients, the last pair didnt last much, with 30 Runs partnership for the 9th pair and 22 run for the 10th Pair, which were the only good point in Germany batting line up.

As for PC. Puneethkumar was on a roll at the start of the Match, taking out 3 batsmen Very early, Followed by Red who went on and toke 4 wickets, while TwentyTen toke 2 wickets and Patel finish it off with taking the Final Wicket.

Setting a total of 85 Runs to Win, was an easy walk in the park for Planet Cricket. With a good opening stand off 62 runs set up the comfortable win for PC, with an outstanding performance by Z Ikram scoring 45 Run off 40.
and a Small Cameo by Dongre 18 run from 10 runs, hitting 1 SIX and 3 FOURS.

Just like there Batting, Germany's Bowling wasn't really Treating as PC played them with ease.

PC finished the Matching within 12 Overs.
R Red was named Man of the Match.
Twentyten was pleased with the performance on his Team, and Praised Ikram for his Batting performance.

Planet Cricket Next Match is against Vanuatu.

Vanuatu VS Gibraltar

Vanuatu
Won the toss and Batting.
They started of Poorly losing 3 quick Wickets. S Parker 0, G Ramprakash0 and N Powney 7. D Harmison (33) and B summers (50) Change things around as they score a very important Partnership of 90 Runs, moving Vanuatu from 13/3 to 103/4. Before Summer Fell at 23.2 Overs for 53Run. D Harmison Fell when the score was aat 136, he scored 42 runs. Lett and Holt start to build another Partnership, before Lett was out for 58Runs, in the 43.2 with Vanuatu on 194 for 6. Teh scoring rate completely fell, as Brook tried to get a move on but loseshis Wicket for 8 Run. Leaving Holt 28 and Langford 10 to finish of things for Vanuatu as they manage a decent total of 225 for 7.
Gibraltar Bowler were J Lawes 2 /32, Mees 2/44,Croft 1/40, Signh 1/51, Robert 0/ 42, Stevens 0/16.

Gibraltar Started Poorly, 3 wiickets falling for 38.Heywood 9,Walker 2 and Hunt 11. Chamberlain and hobbs try to rebuild, but it wasnt long before Chamberlain Fall on 26 with the score on 75.
Hobbs then Followed Camberlain on 24 with the Score on 77.
41 runs Partnership between J Lawes (19) and K Stevens (20) looked dangerous for Vanuatu, before Steven out for 20. Gibraltar started to stuggles as Croft went for 1, and Lawes then depart for 27.
A Great batting performace T Singh (40) give Gibralter some hope, with a good 47 runs Partnership with C Roberts, untile he departs with Gibraltar on 192 - 9 wity 7 over to go. with 1 wicket remainit was hard for Gibraltar to achive that targer, the last wicket fell at 46.1 Over with Robert loses his wicket for 17,Gibraltar have been bowled out for 201.
the pick of Vanuatu bowler were Lungley 3 / 35, Brook 2 / 48, and One wickt each for Borrington 1-50, Lungford 1-22, Summer 1-5.Harmison 1-22.

Vanuatu Won by 24 runs .
J Lungley won Man of the Match.

Zambia VS Kuwait.

Dangerous Puneethkumar Put Vanuatu on there Knees
Coming into this Game with the same Squad who rattled Germany, Twentyten had confidence With his 11.

Planet Cricket 11 : B Hedger, Z Ikram, P Dongre, Aditya, Andrew, U Twentyten, t Barnes, A Khalid, R Puneethkumar, F Patel and R Red.

Vanuatu 11: N Powney, S Parker, G Ramprakash, B Summers, D Harmison, L Lett, T Holt, R Brook, S Langford, L Lungley and T Borrington

Planet Cricket, After Winning the Toss and Batted.
On a Pitch which had something for the Bowlers.

Planet Cricket started off Poorly, Losing B Hedger for 8 in the 3rd Over, he was Bowled Brook. Z Ikram Followed Shortly after a Small Partnership of 30, Ikram was Bowled by Brook for 10, Leaving Planet Cricket at 42/2.
Aditya Join Dongre and together they set up a very Good Partnership of 128 Runs, Smashing the Bowlers all over the Part. Aditya Later Was Lbw at the hands of Brook for 67, it was to late for Vanuatu as PC already had build a Soild total of 170 in the 30th Over. Both Dongre Who Scored and Impressive 117 NOT OUT and Andrew who went on to Score 48, both had put on 91 Runs Partnership, Moving the Finally total to 261 for 3.

Vanuatu on the other Hand, were Totally Rattled with and Very Impressive Opening Spell Bowling by Puneethkumar.
His first Over he toke 4 Wickets. Clean Bowling Powney first ball of the Match, then Ramprakash got his Stump Remove on the 3rd ball, Following right after on the 4th Ball was Summers, he was also Bowled, Not far away Puneethkumar toke his first hat trick Removing Harmison again Cleaning bowling him.
Vanuatu manage to get only 3 Runs, before Puneethkumar strike again in the 5th over, with another Hatrick , Taking out Parker Bowled, Holt who was Caught by Aditya and then Brook was Caugh by Twentyten.
in the 6th Over Randy Finish off the game. Clean bowling Lett and Got Lungley and Borrington LBW.
Vantuatu was Bowled out for 5 Runs after a Storm had hit them.
Puneethkumar 7 for 2 run Really Sent Vanuatu Packing.
and the deserving Man of the Match Award went to Him for his Outstanding performance with the ball.
