Have noticed a big drop in performance since 1.15.2 and no different with .3 - Same settings, very capable machine, no trouble beforehand.

  • Removed regular simulation while participating in a career match.

Can you bring this back? I found this feature useful and used it frequently. For example simulating 30 overs or first 5/6 wickets of opposition batting in a Test match and then bringing myself onto bowl as a part-timer, something I now can't do as the "simulate to career player" doesn't treat me as a bowler and will just run to the end of the innings.

I would rather you hadn't removed regular simulation options from the career mode. If you are captain of the side you need to be able to simulate over by over to manage bowling changes.

I have to agree. I'm on ps4 so haven't seen these changes yet, but I use regular simulation in career quite often for these sort of situations. Sometimes I like to simulate over by over or just a few at a time anyway so I can keep track better off what's going on in the match.

i have started world cup match eng vs aus when completed lineup game crashed and into desktop without any message 2 times this happen today after update

I think @BigAntStudios have been tweaking AI small bits in each patch, I am able to see the difference in approach...If not even then the game feels different after each patch released....

again i play with eng and i try to set line up for opposite team aus game stopped and crashed

What you reckon has changed mate?
Gameplay by AI in general, running between wickets has got better, hitting more shots, ball friction is more realistic, fours are hard to come by for human player, timing has a crucial role so has the foot movement [Got out to a fuller deliver which swung in to the batsman,in a very small gap which has happened for the first time for me since the release], ,minimizing the artificial looking rolls by the WK for catches etc...I surely have seen some changes...Noticed these playing Co-op....

, ball friction is more realistic, fours are hard to come by for human player
i was not able to hit fours regulary on previous version, now it has become more difficult:facepalm.
During my innings of 86 i struck 4 sixes and 0 fours in fc:D

this i think i agree with. they seem to take some runs they wouldn't have before. they definitely still leave some (too many) runs on the paddock, and are generally still conservative, but it does appear to have improved.
Yeah IMO they are tweaking bit by bit so that the progress of AI is gradual and steady so that by the time all the features are added to the game, the game's AI is almost there with a few major changes which might need a separate patch....[DOUBLEPOST=1433949738][/DOUBLEPOST]

But IMO the fours when actually timed well look really realistic in the way the ball reaches the boundary and the way fielder chases it, its makes us feel like run,run this wont reach the boundary but the time you turn for the third it does...That feels really good...

yep it does but most of the times Matt and David gives you the hint by saying well timed shot or something(don't remember exactly what they say) and you know now ball is going to reach the boundary:D.
Its good that continuously running for b/w the wicket don't slow player down in the game because sometimes you hit well timed shot and ball stops just before the boundary and you run 3 but fielder picks up the ball and goes out of boundary throws back to keeper/bowler.:D

The match me and @IceAgeComing were playing had a few shots where we did not have any hint of the ball going to boundary, that's why I said about that running between wickets...I think they have made a bit of suspense as to whether the ball will reach the boundary or not which is a very good tweak IMO....

And that fielder fielding the ball just before boundary definitely is one to be corrected and the fielder going in to crowd area after a six must be removed, best option is to make them restrict crossing the boundary...

Another bug I should have reported:
- @IceAgeComing had an inside edge on to the body and the ball just "made to go" to the WK for a catch, surely something to be looked....Never saw such a thing before the patch....

I think I agree. I have played the game for 160+ hours and I saw few catches taken in first slip for spinners the first time.

not sure if I've seen this one before, so apologies if it's not caused by this patch...

on the shot of the scoreboard on pause, the overs remaining is showing all the overs in the game, not the day.

i'm playing a 2 day game, 110 overs a day... I am not playing a 220 over day, I assure you!!

Certainly not a patch specific issue. It has always been that way.

It sure is a little odd though.
