VC Andrews got the ball rolling with a terrific opening spell for the home side.

The Australians tightened their grip in the field - every ball was stopped, every shy hit the target.

Only the Indian skipper Red King seemed able to combat the Australians.

He went after the Aussie talisman, claiming thirty from just twelve deliveries.

Omkar Chatainya finished the innings with a bang as India reached 149.

Will Australia be able to overhaul that tricky target? They need 7.5 per over.

Experimenting in Batting Order backfired us... But somehow with my little contribution with bat, help us to set 150 target for opposition... And i had full faith in my bowlers, We will tackle Aussies...

FIRST INNINGS

Australia's opening batsmen got off to a good start, with Umair Nazim racing away.

Chatainya broke the dangerous stand at the end of his second over.

That brought in the dangerous Chandrasekaran. He added 78 with Nazim at nearly tens.

O'Riordan brought India back from the brink of defeat by dismissing Nazim.

Sathish Kumar then dismissed Agger for the first time all tournament with a superb run out.

With two to win from the last ball, Siddharth Chauhan faced up to Jack Ryder...

And could only manage a single. After so much dominance, Australia share the title.

What a tournament, and what a prologue for the World Cup!
