PCPL - Discussion Thread (All Owners READ!!)

Many apologies but it was part of the contract.

Simbazz was there! ILI, you know whats going on don't you? Got to keep it secret though!

Misra disgusted at under-the-table deals
Sohum Misra, affluent businessman, Supersoakers founder and ex-Supersoakers owner and manager, was visibly disgruntled at the latest dealings going on with the PCPL, the new boy in the town of Cricsim. Misra didn't mince his words when it came with discussing the PCPL and the latest news that several under-the-table deals had been executed by PCPL founder, Mr. Sharples. "He's running that thing worse than my ex-wife ran her brothel. He's all about the money and not about the protection [for the bidders]." Misra was understandably upset as he is in the process of planning a bid for the LA Lightning franchise, which he would be running from his residence in the United States. "If Sharples goes on to strike these sort of deals with his friends, what is the point of having a bidding process, anyway? He might as well just conduct the whole thing under the table."

Misra then disappeared behind a few pints of beer and was unavailable for comment.

Table responds angrily to allegations
The table that is alleged to be involved in the under-the-table negotiations says that it is angered to be involved with such a controversy and that it was a desk and not a table that the deal was made under.

Upon Fourlegs from the Tray and Table Union has called Sohum Misra's statement misleading and the bad name given to tables is unfounded.
This sort of wild accusation is abhorrent to us and we intend to use the full capacity of the law to stop Misra's misleading allegations

The Union representing Desks' spokesdesk, Youcan Putstuffonadesk, has in turn been angered by the TTU's allegations.
We are against this sort of racist slur by the table union.

When an unsuspecting bystander was asked for comment, he had this to say
I find them all a bit shifty, but desks are heavier so more trustworthy.

The minister for airports was mistakenly contacted as a young reporter confused the Tray and Table Union for a Tray Table. This reporter has now been sacked.

Eh? Thats pretty funny Matt, Youcan Putstuffonadesk, mwhahaha!

Ok, i'll not accept private bids from now one. But the owner of the Dublin Destoryers still stands.

What's their motive of being so mysterious?

Why are they doing all the under-the-table stuff?

I want to buy a team. But, Look at my VCash baby!.:laugh!.

do u have any in the bank?? Second of all team up wid peeps.

I was just wondering, we will be bidding on players yes?? And if so, do people get to reject the highest bidder because they want to go to a specific team, for instance if Toronto offered me 50K and Irish Destroyers offered me 45K can I still take the 45K??

The Sydney outfit are now up for sale.

ili, i will let everyone know after the end of the cric-sim season.

The season will go on for a while so owner can re-coup money etc.

I haven't said that players are to be bought, or just chosen yet ;)

Maybe the only thing now Owners will payout for is contract perks such as Appearance Bonus', i'm being vague because i haven't actually gone away and thought about this part yet.
