Secret Owner now in Charge of the Dublin Destroyers

A secret, privately owned business has stepped in for the Dublin Destroyers in the last minute of the deal. Mr. M Whitehorn, the almost cert owner of the Franchise has lost out.

The deal is said to be worth something over 100k, meaning the kitty has been widened a great deal, the winner will expect something extraordinary.

Mr. Sharple has said,

"We got the offer, in private, within the closing stages. We had to make sure it was legit as we wasn't sure that the businessman could stump up the funds he proposed, he has, and the club is his.

The only thing which we're legally allowed to say is that IloveIreland will be the team manager for the first season. He has been placed in charge as he will bring a good atmosphere to the club. This is something which I hope will work!"

There are rumors that Sharples felt it necessary to offer the Manchester Monkeys to Mr. Whitehorn, and we believe he has accepted, but it will need confirming.

Depends how much money you have, my sources reliably inform me that my bid was nearly doubled so secure the Dublin side.

I'll also add that Mr Sharples was a delightful old chap and he makes quite a good cup of tea.

No, as it stands currently, both the Cricsim teams (Dynamo's, Bitters, Legends etc.) will still be playing with you guys, as well as the PCPL!
