Why dont you appoint a vice captain then? If you feel the need to especially somebody that is extremely active. And if you come at me with the but lots of people have a life...If you really have a life what are you doing on an internet forum with people you dont know?

It is not up to me to appoint a vice captain, is it? I'm just a lowly player (although a legendary one, at that, with an average of infinity).

My point is that if teams are posted late and there are a finite number of people who can post teams, those people should be punished, not the rest of the team. I didn't even get a bat in the last game!

You can dictate a price BUT, i'd need to be informed of it and if i feel its not worth it, i'd deal with you and the person who wants to buy a price in which you're both happy.

Who picks the pitches during the finals and playoffs?

The team that is placed first will get to pick pitches for two of the finals matches (the first and the last, if needed). The team placed second will get to pick the pitch for the second match. That's how it's done in professional sports leagues, like the NBA.
