Actually, with Pal being gone for a week I want to avoid spending too much as much as possible. I'm bidding with my own money ATM, as Simon got quite angry at us when we delayed paying the last bunch.

Bloody keyboard. It never recovered after vodka being spilt on it. "L" "Q" "J" and the spacebar only work about 50% of the time. I have to proof read everything

There should be some kind of penalty handed out to CC. It's guys and groups like these that have the world economies as it is. Bidding some bid that totally shuts out the little man, and then pretend like they were not interested. You have guys in here representing consortium and subduing small teams like TT. What do you say Tom, my pal, my mate

I have to say I do agree here and a lot like the IPL I think there should be a bidding cap....

Come come Colin, if all the super internationals goes to say two teams that bid between 10mil and 15mil, they get these guys, what are the chances of say TT with no international(s) being able to win and share of the purse??
There should be a cap and if it means that each team pays a certain amount into a pool to further increase the prize then fine.
But to have these consortium out here laying down such huge amounts is a bit unfair to the little teams, well to TT I can only speak for us.

All I can do it point you towards what happened last season where neither of the two biggest spending clubs won the tournament. In fact TT spent the minimum and avoided relegation unlike VV and SS who spent far more and went down.
