A few suggestions for the future…

A newsletter that has some stories of the PCL events in general with a spotlight look on a highlighted player that includes maybe a small interview. (The interview could be achieved through PM)

A history page that is locked this is a history of the teams taking part that includes:

• A brief history of the team and background.
  
• Notable cricketers and highest runs/wickets.
  
• Trophies.
  
• Match records.
  
• Season records (final standings where a team finished)
  
• Full team lists with PC member name.

Loan moves added.

A transfer clock that counts down how long is left with a deadline.

Each player taking part has a contract which could last for half a season or a full season.

PC sponsors. This would be a few fake companies set up that sponsors each cricketer with earnings as part of the deal.

Earnings a rich list who has earned the most.

Equipment shop includes bats where a member can upgrade and purchase it would be added to signature with any sponsors left or right of any existing signature in place.

Kit numbers are mandatory and listed.

Captain press conferences where a captain has a few questions by a nominated press member.

Suggestion - PCPL

At the moment the only Forums that are relatively active are the Cricket '07 downloads, DBC & the graphics forums.

Suggestion is to arrange an Inter Planet Cricket T20 League between the following:

• 4 x PCPL Teams (Should the Amigo's want to continue - judging on their bad form in all formats,lol)
• 2 x Teams - Cricket '07 downloads
• 2 x Teams - Graphics threads
• 2 x Teams - DBC

Complete with awesome graphics (that the graphics guys can help with), vCash and all the trimmings.

I'm positive an Inter league will spice PCPL up a bit with @swirler and @User2010 doing the simming & stats.

Good idea. But most of members who are active in those forums don't have any interest in leagues.

We do continue. I agree that we performed horribly in FC but we are doing well in One day format. Though we got eliminated from T20s, I'm happy that it was very close but unfortunately got evicted from it.

I don't think so.They are almost fully inactive in other sections.

C07 - No interest.
DBC - No idea how leagues operate.
Graphics - No active members.

If there isn’t many people signing up for next season if there will be a next season you could always cut two teams which I am sure no one wants but it’s a possibility.

I couldn’t even get signed at the beginning and have only played the second half of the season I don’t know what went wrong.

Yup we have been doing behind the scene work for the next PCPL and we have made a lot of progress. We are nearly at the end stages of this one so it should not matter much now. But from the next season onwards, it is going to be different and much better. One format at a time and making it continuous are some of the things we are going to do.

Any way to open the sign-up forum to see if there is new interist in PCPL. I'm sure guys like @CerealKiller would be interested in joining.
