Bailey is a good captain. Hope he will lead KXIP

No matter he is good or best. He don't have much experience in India. Don't know how he would control the team. But if Viru isn't looking for captaincy then Bailey is most favorite as he is leading an international side since past 2/3 years. TT is the game where all depends upon the captain rather than whole team. Best is the captain, best the team is. Would like to see him surviving with KXIP's captain responsibility.

Lets see man. Hope viru will be back on ODI team. And also Gautam too.

No matter what i will be supporting my home team RCB and KXI if they have Adam Gilchrist with any role to play for them or else it will be KKR since its been old RCB of 2009 with almost 5 players playing from the same squad of us in that year. I Re name it as (Karnataka Knight Riders) :) and i would like to tell you that Rcb went with the bowlers suggested by Sir Allan Donald so no matter what i guess if starc wont perform the coming season he will surely be scraped and we will get a decent in form player at that time i belive our bowlers will do well since our bowling coach got the best from PWI players

  1. Virender Sehwag
  2. Mandeep Singh
  3. George Bailey :c: :os:
  4. David Miller :os:
  5. Glenn Maxwell :bwl::os:
  6. Gurkirat Singh Mann :wk:
  7. Rishi Dhawan :bwl:
  8. Mitchell Johnson :bwl::os:
  9. Sandeep Sharma :bwl:
  10. Murali Kartik :bwl:
  11. Parvinder Awana :bwl:
I think this is our strongest lineup, yes there is no Pujara, Saha, but the reason for that is, this is T20. I would have picked Balaji in front of Sandeep and Awana, but those two just took wickets consistently, so I don't want that to change.
Johnson is likely to miss the start so Beuran Hendricks will take his place, a very good bowler.

P.s: What's this thing with Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik? I would like to know that backstory.:D

Murali Vijay is living in a relationship with Dinesh Karthick's wife (ex). Karthick is engaged to Deepika in the recent past but not yet divorced Nikitha officially.

----------

For the first time in IPL history i will be supporting all the 8 teams.
My top two favorites:
1.CSK, RR, KX1P, DD, SRH, RCB
2.KKR, MI.

First grade treatment to 6 teams and second grade to the remaining two.

I wish KX1P just for the sake of Viru because i badly want to see him in the indian team again.

Where is Manan Vohra??? KXIP retaining player...:p and don't forget Pujara also in captaincy Race...

Yes you must have balance between attack and defense. With that in mind I would only play one of Saha and Pujara, probably Saha since the other batsmen in the side are strong - Pujara isn't really required. I'd probably add Balaji, Saha and Vohra to that team. Shaun Marsh will be hard to leave out on current form, and Thishara Perera might be the guy to come in to play instead of Johnson. A hitting #7 would be great icing on the cake for this lineup :thumbs

Liking the Kings XI lineup, think they might be my team this time :) I tend to follow players rather than franchises. Always been a RR man in the past, still like their squad though. Maybe I'll have two teams this year :D

I was watching a video from IPL3 Auction and I would like to know just in case anyone is aware of it that how does the the person taking the bid knows the amount of bid when all he can see was just a light stick with the logos of respective teams on it raised to place a bid?

A particular raise is set already for the bid increase for a set of bid amounts.

For example:

Bids up to $100,000 ? increments of $5,000

Bids from $100,000 to $250,000 ? increments of $10,000

Bids from $250,000 to $500,000 ? increments of $25,000

I doubt it because it is not unformly raised bids unlike what you mentioned. Here is how it goes in the video for example:

$500,000 raised to $510,000 further raised to $600,000 before $610,000, $660,000 $680,000, $690,000, $700,000 $720,000, $730,000, $740,000 and $750,000 were the amounts that the teams were willing to shell out before KP was sold to Mumbai Indians. Clearly there was no uniformity in the bidding bar until $680,000.

Bids higher than $500,000 are based on auctioneer's discretion then.

That is what I was trying to know that how the person who takes the bid knows how much the bidder has bid when there is no amount shown in that light stick. My guess is that the amount would be displayed on the table their table? Mind you, I have never watched an IPL auction before so I have no idea how it works in IPL.
