IPL Pepsi IPL 2014 Auction

Even many Aussie players didnt get chance. Also english too. I think its because of foreign players restriction per match. They need to increase atleast to 5 foreigners.

oh. Wished to see his hittings on ipl .

I know it was good to see him, but with KP out, England have a spot open for a counter-attacking batsman and (being English) I'd rather watch him winning tests for England than in the IPL! Of course if he doesn't play for England then the international scene is missing out!

Whom do you think was brilliant and who was brainless in the auction?

I would say RCB was the best and MI,well hate to say it but was not good.

First time in the history of the league i see all the teams are at the same level each one has their strengths and weakness every team look balanced at least on paper by looking each team Ipl has kept its promise of level headed play for all teams after 6 years cheers but i feel most of the teams left out their local tallents so that may have a hit on their following

Hopefully should be a pretty even competition this year looking at some of the squads, Punjab especially should be pretty happy with the auction. They have underpeformed ever since the 1st season where Marsh made a ton of runs.

@greymatter776 i dont feel one team was best because all had done the best for instant Rcb did amazingly well up to Starc purchase the had one foolish bid on him that just hand cuffed them going forward to the auction. And i really feel Mi dont have that aggressive look now but i dont see them make the final 4 for the up coming season

Supporting RR and Punjab. Like RR as a franchise and Punjab because they got Viru. Always have a soft spot for Gambhir as well.

Also, did Brett Lee remain unsold? If he did, kind of surprising really seeing as he is one of the more popular foreign cricketers in India - along with his cricketing skills of course :p
