Perfect Slog!

Hello all,

Got Cricket 2004 for PS2 just a question really, I have tried to slog some shots but I can't get the timing right I am playing as England against Pakistan and I am batting on a hard pitch.

Any tips, on how to consistently get bat to ball and get over the feilders :wink

Well it worked perfectly in practice as I timed it perfectly but among these hard pitches, apart from hitting the ball on the back foot I keep missing it, for most of the time.

Just wondering when is the best time to hit the ball to get a good connection, late or early on these pitches??

try and hit the ball earlier as on a hard pitch the ball comes onto the bat much quicker.
