This was Planet Cricket FC first ever match and the lineup put by the manager was strong and had a lot of talent . While the United attack was the strongest of the two .
Planet Cricket FC started the game with a great start . The y created a lot of opportunities and the passing was brilliant . First chance of the match came to Highlander when his shot from the edge of the box was easily saved by van Der Sar . Soon later a teasing cross by Karachi Xpress making Van der Sar punch the ball away for safety . United's first clear chance was in the 20th minute but Ryan Giggs shot from 10 yards was brilliantly blocked by Dr Pepper . Soon from the corner United could have scored but Rio Ferdinand's header went high . PCFC 2 minutes later had their own corner and Highlander's header from the near post was well saved by Van Der Sar . Soon Karachi Xpress took a shoot from the edge of the black but was blocked by Highlander his team mate himself . The two sides were playing a good passing game . Michael Carrick was booked for a useless challenge and soon later thesweepmaster was booked for another useless challenge and giving United a freekick in Ronaldo range . Ronaldo took the freekick and it was fired like a rocket and produced a brilliant save by FeelinBlue just on the stroke of half time .
5 substitutions were made at half time . Thesweepmaster was replaced by Freddiw , KBChandraw came on for Highlander , Giggity Giggity came on for Arko , World Champions came on for PaulNixon and Tobes came on for FeelinBlue . Tobes made his first saved just after 10 minutes from his arrival . He made the save of shot by Ryan Giggs . The two teams werent able to break the defence of the either . The match was heading towards a goalless draw . PCFC defence was rock solid and the passing was brilliant . shantanu_rooney and Giggity Giggity added a lot of pace on the wings . Mad Snake just 5 minutes before 90 mins had his header flew over the right post . It was looking like some drama in stoppage time and did happen . Some great football by PCFC led to the goal . First it was great through pass by Sid Scion to KBChandraw and the KBChandraw taking 2 defenders and the backheel from him which gave Sid Scion to take his strike and score quiet easily . PCFC had scored their first ever goal and celebration all round . Referee blew the whistle and it was 1-0 to Planet Cricket FC .
