I can not believe English one. I reckon Italian Indian or Mexican should have as i have said many times before. Oh well, not the end of the world eh. English food is still OK though. Roast Dinner fish and chips all that.

I'm fairly surprised the English won, It's fairly obvious that it got a fair amount of Home votes. Personally I wouldn't want to choose between any of the top 4. But I do understand that people outside England don't really know what English food is, it doesn't really fit into a stereotype like the others do and it doesn't really market itself as English food abroad. I'm sure Indian, Mexican and Italian food isn't exactly like it is in Indian, Italian or Mexican restaurants or take-a-way's but people have a very strong idea of what they are going to get when they walk into one.

Yeah, like, it is all first thing that comes to your mind stuff you know. Like when you think of mexican food, what do you think of, well nachos, than when you think of italian food what food do you think of, pizza, when you think of indian food what do you think of, curry, when you think of english food what food do you think of, fish and chips. Than say pick your fav food out of those 4 and you have your vote. So in my opinion many people prefer fish and chips or roast dinners than to curry's, nachos,enchalades,pizza, and pasta.
