Half-Time Report​

5th Minute - Excellent run from Beasley down the left, tries the cross to Samaras, but just misses. Suren Ram does the honours of clearing the ball out. Terrible mistake by Simon Barrow, but the advantage is not taken by Man City.

18th Minute - Here's James Edmonds, where was he going? The ball is taken off him by Trevor Sinclair. He shoots!










And Produces a terrific Save from Tobie Chapman!


21th Minute - The ball is kicked out to Tahir, who gets tripped, he looks hurt. Referee signals play on, but Tahir is still on the ground! The coach gets Avroneel Biswas ready, and makes the change.

35th Minute - Short passes between Sinclair and Beasley create the opening for Samaras crosses it in towards Coradi who made a mess of the chance.

44th Minute - Matthew FB carries the ball up and then finds Sumner who was sprinting along the left touchline. The cross from Sumner finds the head of Rabeta who puts it wide. Best oppurtunity for PC so far.

Half-time Talk with Farrukh and Mohit​

Farrukh: So the game stands even at half-time even with Man City having most of the possesion.

Mohit: Yes, the list that was made earlier was not implmented by Planetcricket FC. They are very lucky to even be in this game.

Farrukh: You would wonder how long would the defense be hold Samaras and Beasley from scoring a goal.

Mohit: So we get ready for the second half, what changes are happening Farrukh?

Farrukh: We see Simon Barrow and Willie Liebenberg coming off for Naufal and Handsome.

Avroneel Biswas gets under it and puts it away! Fantastic stuff to get the lead!

50th Minute - Heres Beasley. He's just so good with the passing. His long ball finds Hamann who looks up at the shot but decides to pass it to Samaras who takes the shot perfectly. Top corner, no chance for the keeper.

Samaras puts City level!

64th Minute - Substitutions for Man City:

Richard Dunne (Off) - Sun Jihai (On)
Burnardo Corradi (Off) - Paul Dickov (On)

78th Minute - Beasley with the shot! Goes off Notradoom for a corner.

Corner kick taken, goes off Nauful but not cleared. Here's Dickov!

89th Minute - PC are running out of time.. They need a goal and they need it now.

Everyone is making the runs. They have the ball. It's Sumner. Now to Rabeta. Back heel pass to Matthew FB who takes the shot!

























GOAL! Its all level! Matthew FB scores the equalizer!

That might be it. The whistle blows, both teams played well. The game ends 2-2.

Full-time Talk with Farrukh and Mohit​

Farrukh: We hope you enjoyed this great game as much as we did. It was a roller coaster second half.

Mohit: Yes it was. But you have to say, there was a advantage to City. They had many more oppurtunities.

Farrukh: I was surprised that Chapman was able to save those shots.

Mohit: Another Major concern for PC is the injury to Hassan Tahir.

Farrukh: They would hope that the injury is not long-term. We will find out later on from the Physio.

Mohit: Beasley is the most Important player of the match, as he gets our highest rating. We hope you enjoyed the game, and we leave you with the full-time stats.

Predict-The-Result Competition Launched by PlanetCricket FC​

Planetcricket FC have gotten another idea to keep their members and fans interested. They have launched Predict-The-Result Competition in which fans from around the world will predict the winner of the match as well as then answer a trick question which will be provided to them by Planetcricket FC.

The winner of the Contest will have his name announced, receive REP, and get a interview which will be shown live on TV (The Forum).
