Yes, but now I've started participating in such leagues and I'm just loving it. Please include my team. Can you give a reason why I may not get a team? Is it only for staff members as I can see almost all the guys posting in this particular thread are staff members.

@ Great India, why would you say it's only for staff members. Myself and Callum are the only staff members who have posted in this thread apart from Chewie but he's running the league.

Oh yes! But by the time I posted my first post in the thread, the most of posts were either of you three staff members. Nevermind, fair enough. I won't be joining the league now as it already has too many very good members interested in it and I don't think there's a room for me in as a newbie for this forum.

@Hedger you can specify orders as much as you want but if they're too pedantic I probably won't do them. Or if you have too many cos it'll just get annoying.

What do you mean overseas players? When you select players they can be from anywhere in the world.

Ok. I'll probably just have lineup, toss, night watchman, bowling order, part timers to bowl if certain players are going above a certain run rate/100 run partnership, preferred bowlers for bowling at certain batsman, declaration target. When batsman should get aggressive, what bowlers should they attack/defend etc.


Also thought that rather than do a couple of games a day, have every game going on at once and post a day each day, so you'd play the first day of every game and then post them that day. Then people can change their orders during the game and then you could pretty much get through 3 rounds around every 2 weeks if you have a days break between each round.

It would probably only work though if most people were going to post new orders for each new day otherwise you'd get to the point where everything goes slower than normal and people get bored seeing each day of their match before finally getting the result after 4 days.

That would just get really confusing for me cos I'd have like 8 save games going at the same time.
