PlanetCricket Premier League 3 - Discussion Thread

One more question Simon; are we going to have a statistics thread, like we did last year?

Since Simon is turning a deaf ear to this question, I'll ask Zorax to do the honours and answer the question. :p

Apologies, If you saw how much work I've got currently with University you'd be crying with me, so here goes through teary eyes,

Yes, everyone will get to see statistics (if Kshitiz's Sim has been used properly by our Simmers).

how long after the match has been posted do we count the posts up un till? 48 hours?

For the 3 posts per match, any time before the average upgrades is fine.

For popularity rankings, it's how many till I get around to it :p (Usually about 48 hours.)

Cheers. It'll be good to see the stats once they are done. :)

Take nothing away from what Kshitsz has done, but this sim is awfully weird. I get this feeling that the balancing is wrong, there are so many top orders failing like in the recent BB vs TT game, only 2 players out of both Top 6's made double figures, then because they have failed the tailenders just do a whole lot better, it's not like the top order fails and then continue to get rolled, it's just weird.

Yeah, I've noticed that 1 or 2 batsmen make 60 odd and the rest struggle to make 10 runs.

Just looked at the most recent round (all 3 games) and whilst two batsmen in every innings made roughly 50-70 runs each the rest rarely made it past 10 (I saw an 11 and a 17).
