Hi,

PS Store is now officially available in India and I am currently downloading the NBA 2011 demo. I have couple of questions for users who have been using it for all these years:

1. Since I am still stuck with fat PS3, so it means I have just 40 GB space and that too cannot be fully used as it is already fill with other game data. So if I download a full game from Store can I back it up on external hard disk to play it whenever I want?

2. Is PlayStation Plus membership worth it? I see it has Assassins Creed Brotherhood beta available for free but other benefits are just some random discount on a game I will never play. And if answer to above question is in negative then I will never go for this as what use is it to download a game at full price only to be not able to play it once you have to move it out due to lack of space.

2) It's not worth it. It's just a gimmick.

Don't pay for anything! The great part about ps3 is that you can take part in majority of the online experience for free.

Betas and exclusives and sneak peeks are all meaningless bullshit. Its all useless information in just a week or a months time.

Also, if you've purchased a game you can download it at any time.

Failing that consider putting a bigger HD in it, it's quite easy to throw 500GB in there.

Well they are charging 500 bucks more (Rs. 2985 i.e cost of average good game title) if I pay in INR but getting hands on full beta for game like Assassin Creed is worth it. Just that I have found nothing else appealing.

I read on net and if we download any game from Plus then even if we delete it, we can download it for free anytime till subscription last. Wonder if it holds true for games outside Plus.

Never thought I would say this but I need additional hard disk for PS3 and additional speed in my internet connection. :p

SciD added 1 Minutes and 1 Seconds later...

Thanks, thats what I will do.

If you are running out of space, delete some of your demos and large game data. Just keep the game data of the games you regularly play.

Don't touch Playstation Plus.

If you buy and download a full game, just delete it after you've played it and so long as you have a decent internet cap, you can download it again if you do want to play it again. But honestly, full games are a lot better than downloadable games. The only ones you should consider buying are the full games available on the store (inFAMOUS and LBP).
