benaud, grieg, boycott, shastri,

aussie, south african, english and indian.

thats a fairly even representation.

now we just need to get EA to listen to our suggestions

I think there should be about 4 - Richie Benaud, Jim Maxwell, Tony Greig and Michael Holding.

Not Jim Maxwell again.

I'd go Richie, Boycott/Bumble, Holding and Shastri.

What about Mark Nicholas?? Richie and Mark the perfect team!

cant stand him...he should have been a car salesman!

theres something too slick about him..i cant put my finger on it, but i think its in his brown nosing everyone elses comments (kissing butt) , i like commentators with character, he is mr bland, for me anyway.

one guy i've heard commentate a bit and really was i9mpressed with was Shane Warne!

during his drug ban he did a stint and he was awesome, great comments, ideas, and he explained what players were likely thinking in different situations, that was fantastic, and his delivery was very smooth on the ears.

Someone mentioned on air the other day that Ricky Ponting may have been invited to join channel 9 commentary team when he retires, anyone else hear that or got ideas about it?

id much rather see warney.
