I genuinely can't believe you took the '22 days' and '25 days' as some hard and fast rule they have to stick by. They're examples.



Given the history of Tru Blu, this is not out of the ordinary. It works for them. You need to understand this.

If it didn't work for them, they wouldn't be doing it. If it didn't work for Big Ant, they wouldn't keep going back to publish with Tru Blu.

I think this is the issue. You need to stop taking it so personal, you are behaving as if they are responsible to keep you informed of every step of their publishing process. Unfortunately, they do not owe you this. All they owe you is the opportunity to purchase the game as easily as is possible when it is released. Regardless how much notice people will get, it will probably only affect 5% of people in any way, shape or form.. the majority of people will just buy it when it is released or when they first hear about it (after release). Those other 5% will be made up of people who will have to wait a bit as they may not have had enough time to get money together.. but will, within a short time, buy the game.

You have to also know that regardless of what you are seeing now, does not mean anything is not happening in the background, as per my previous 'smoke/fire' comment. You do not know of the prior relationship between Big Ant and TruBlu.. at least in depth apart from the number of titles they have released together. Ross may have concerns about how the release is being handled, and if he did, he would take it up with them directly.. not just issue a public statement of 'I'm not happy'. The only times a company does this is when their relationship with the publisher is not great (hell, look at the way 505 Games 'defended' Trickstar despite obviously screwing them over).

Any issues with the publishing side of the game release has NOTHING to do with you.. it's a issue between Big Ant and TruBlu.. if Big Ant have no issue (as they know the reasons for things being done), then that is that, things will continue as they continue.

Perfect summary, which is basically what Ross said pages ago regarding the footy guys and their experiences with HES/TruBlu with this kinda lead-in time and promotional stuff being par-for-course for that particular community.

Blame some of these people for changing my post from an opinion to something else. I obviously posted that I don't like how they are being very slow in their publishing strategy as the end of month is nearing and they haven't announced the release date yet. That was my opinion which has been brought up to become a big fuss.
