The values show as exactly the same in both rosters:
running speed - 90
judgement - 80
placement - 85

Can you post an ingame screen showing Smith's new batting skills.

Here's the newly edited file. I edited Graeme Smith again, this time putting -10 on his running speed and +10 on his strength.
