Match Status: Innings Break

Queensland have limped to 208 all out in the season opener against NSW at the GABBA. Some excellent Blues bowling put QLD on the back foot from the get go. At one stage QLD were 2/0, with Mark Cameron, Doug Bollinger and Aaron Bird the standout bowlers of the innings.

QLD started a middle order revival through Symonds, Reardon and Simpson but none were able to pass 50 and it was left to Noffke and Harris to salvage whatever they could. It should be an interesting run chase with the hard hitting David Warner sure to provide plenty of fireworks.

Nice start Stevo1. Good score by Bulls after being 2/0,hoping you can bowl well.

Any ways which game are you playing this on?

NSW are awesome :D Queensland need to bowl really good now to win. Nice simple presentation here Stevo, good stuff! :)

BTW Shan it says in the title, he is playing on 07.

Thanks for the comments guys. I just got a new laptop and thought id make a story with the Bulls on C07. I don't have a lot of time on my hands with school, sport and other things, but i'll endeavour to try and make it a little fancier with in game pics, etc.

Good start to this mate, it's a good read and nice little presentation

It's ok you don't have much time on your hands, neither do i, but still with some work and practice a lot of good will come out of it eventually

Thanks, appreciate it.

Queensland got an average score after their terrible start, but I guess it'll do. Nice start by the way, mate, haven't seen you do a story before.

Match Status: Innings over.

Well, well, well. Queensland have done the impossible and beaten NSW, in an interesting FRC game at the GABBA. NSW set a meager 201 to win, could not chase it down, ending up at 4/199 from there 50 overs. Dave Warner went cheaply, then Hughes and Forrest set about restoring the innings. Hughes made an elegant 43, before Forrest and Rohrer got together and almost put the game beyond doubt, but it wasn't to be.Captain Chris Simpson rotated his bowlers heavily with QLD fielding a strong all-round side, all but Nathan Reardon and wicket-keeper Chris Hartley bowled and this was the catalyst for the QLD victory.

Too slow by the batsmen there but it seems the bowlers kept it tight, when NSW could of gone for it completely at the end due to wickets in hand.

Great neat presentation, Stevo. Keep this going. :)

@ Gabba

Match Preview:

Queensland are back at the Gabba for the second time in as many games. They had a thrillling but slow victory over NSW, which is sure to give them plenty of confidence heading into this match. This is Tasmania's first match of the season and will be looking to beat the Bulls on there home turf. Chris Simpson spoke with Fox Sports earlier today.

Brendan Julian: "Chris, great win the other night, batting was a pretty average but the bowling was simply outstanding."

Chris Simpson: " Yeah thanks mate, it was just good I guess to iron out a few of the cobwebs and get the opening game out of the way, and our bowling was obviously good enough to get us the points."

Brendan Julian: So any what's the team look like? Any major batting changes or bowling?

Chris Simpson: Yep, Ryan Broad comes in at the expense of Daniel Doran. Broady will open up with Watto, and Hopesy will drop down the order.

Brendan Julian: Thanks for your time Chris.

Chris Simpson: Cheers Brendan.
