Random Thoughts

He's an SL troll - who adopted a strategy to troll Indian fans and use it to gain a huge following.
More then Indian fans, he is actually using the hatred between Indian and Pakistani fans to gain following. His Babar praises and constant Virat mocking!

Also I know not all are eligible but I hope he never gets approved for Twitter Revenue sharing, he smartly opened up commenting to all since twitter announced it so he can earn based on hatred. Not much difference between politicians and Daniels of the world. Disgusting.

A month ago when those Hamas terrorists came in and terrorized the innocent Israelis my heart broke for all the innocent lives that get lost due to terrorism.

Now reading and seeing all the visuals from Gaza, my heart feels claustrophobic and pains to see all the innocent Palestines losing life like a pack of cards.

What is the end game? There is none in sight and more innocent lives will be lost. World is just watching and doing nothing. Please do something, stop and do something for the people for Gaza.

While I still condemn what Hamas did but I cannot turn a blind eye and not see what happening with innocent people in Gaza.

We are supposed to be in 21st century yet our thoughts are 1st century old. People still fighting for land is not a solution and is not going to help.

I pray for all innocents across both sides but I am praying a little extra for Palestines as they are more suppressed, they are more disconnected from the world and they are more in need for help compared to other side of the border.

Please god whichever and whoever you are, Allah, Ram, Jesus or any other, let peace prevail.

But much less people in India can reach that salary when compared to the USA

Yup, the disparity of income is quite huge in most of the sub-continent countries

A person making $100,000 in USA would be considered 81 lakh rupees in India but that is not true. As seen from Stick Cricket, the disparity on how much they charge for so called "Premium things" is insane.

There was an article I read that said in truer terms that its not 81 lakhs but 21 lakhs. Now that is still significant for the year but that still does not consider how cheap labor, food and other items are too.

Netflix costs 500 rupees which is $6.25 for 2 device streaming, similar plan here is $19.99. That is 3 times more expensive. Cost of milk is 191 rupees for 3.5 litres since we get it here in gallons and here it is $4.99 which is again 400 rupees so twice expensive.

So not have crazy salary in India but those who have live a lavish life even if they make 1/3rd I make here or even live a better life.

There are variety of other factors that we dont even consider, think of someone hiring a maid here vs 80% has a maid in India. Think of calling an electrician or plumber who charge you just $100 to come visit + additional cost to repair compared to what an electrician or plumber charges in India?

The only thing we luck out on is gas which is almost no more the case.

I get your point, but the median salary of a person here in Mumbai which is the financial capital of India is around 30k INR per month which constitute around 80 to 90% of the city's population. Yes India has one of the lowest cost of living in the entire world, but out of the 30k earned in a month around 15-20k goes into rent or EMIs itself so only a peanut of income is left considering other spends on just the basic needs like food, clothing and utilities. The average income is even lesser in other cities.

An average Indian is barely able to fulfill his needs like food, clothing and shelter. So spending even Rs.100 on a leisure activity is too much at times.

However for that small portion of elite rich class, they have the most snobbish life here, but it accounts of only 0.1% of the entire population.

Then ofcourse there is a vast majority of irresponsible youth who even at the cost of the family, irresponsiblely spends discreetly on such items not keeping in mind the financial condition of the family.

This also explains why me or @PaceMaker are of the opinion of losing a tournament here rather than spending that Rs.100 even if that sounds dirt cheap.

for a local guy who is working as an electrician or plumber generally charges around 200-500 + any additional costs of repairs/ replacements. mostly people don't even want to spend money calling them, so their comes "jugaad" which fixes anything at lowest cost possible and everyone has done masters in it.

We Indians generally avoid spending untill and unless it's really very important to invest money in a particular thing whether to go for a lunch/dinner or to get a phone or pc and just forget about gaming consoles or spending money in game purchases or subscriptions.

This girl's mother organised a birthday party for her daughter amidst the most hellish war. This girl is still alive. Her mother and her sister were killed by an Israeli bomb.

Its just heartbreaking it really is. How anything can justify this treatment of a whole peoples because of the actions of a few is beyond me. After all the suffering that the people of Israel have gone through themselves. It is sad that we have to attach a disclaimer to a post like this: no I do not condone terrorism in any form or shape it takes but nor do I condone the death of innocent unarmed people in persuit of 'justice'.
