first year uni results are in and I passed every module.

First in modules totalling 52.5 of the 120 credits, too. Although I got a few 2.2 in the modules I didn't really care about (and in one of the ones I did, but only 1 percent off the 2.1)

so averages out as a pretty decent 2.1 for the first year, not bad, shame it doesn't count towards the degree!

Dhoni married yesterday, with the girl being his former schoolmate who now resides in Kolkata. As everything was kept secret till yesterday, the Indian media couldn't make much of a hullabullo over it. Poor things! :laugh

aye, my weakest passes were in the subjects I didn't give a toss about. The "Why study chemistry?" module, for example, was my lowest. I didn't do some of the assignments for it.

Slightly disappointed with my physical chemistry though, as I got 59 - 60 is a 2.1, but more effort next year should see me fine.

i had to write an essay titled "why study chemistry?" too.

Ironically one of the reasons I chose to study chemistry was to avoid writing essays...
