Go for it Mark! Very worthy work indeed and I am sure you will be good at it! What's stopping you?

Nothing really, I have a very comfortable job though, however it feels very pointless and empty. Plus I really want the 3 months of holiday teachers get here.

For my accounting assignment I have to put all these transactions in a general journal and the post them to the ledger, and then create a trial balance. It is incredibly boring.

First year Commerce - you have to do all the different disciplines. It sucks.

:facepalm I've finished it and it balances, but it's not the same total as the one they've given us as a hint :crying

oh nvm, they changed the assignment before to reduce confusion, make it not as ambiguous. In doing so they changed where some of the numbers were to go, reducing the final overall figure, but not changing their hint. (Instead of saying that a customer paid for goods, they made it so that he paid for goods previously bought on credit. That reduces the revenue) So they've overstated their hint. I can't be bothered emailing them to fix it. I know what's wrong, if other people don't notice it's their fault :p

I feel smart now.

Gotta say I'm rather disappointed with the outcome of the joint press-conference of David Cameron and Manmohan Singh which was held in Delhi today evening. Was expecting more from it than some cliched platitudes about Pakistan and Afghanistani insurgency. Our Gen next really doesn't care about this problem with our western neighbour and all. What we want is better economic and strategic co-operation between these two nations (and that's the whole point of Cameron's visit anyway) yet, surprisingly, no journalist, either Indian or British raised that issue.
