Woke up to a snow day, just some pictures of my day off

I think it's snowing outside as we speak. Can't imagine you get a lot of snow down in Texas, on average about a day a year you reckon?

Yea snow for a day or two and ice/freezing for about 2-3 weeks.

Our winters are not exactly pleasant. I guess its our really hot summers that give the impression that it stays that way all the time, but we do have very bitter winters.

Fair enough. Pretty much everywhere is warm when you live in the UK. Except the obvious places like Scandanavia, the two poles, Greenland, Iceland and Alaska. Now to think of it, we could be worse off. Then again none of those places get rain as often as we do.
